I am writing to you in support of Ms. Anna Włodarska and her desire to attend the University of Tel-Aviv for the Polish-Intercultural Youth Encounters program. Though many students ask me to make this request on their behalf, I only recommend students whom I feel are well-suited for the program of their choice. Ms. Włodarska is one of those students and therefore, I highly recommend that she be given the opportunity to participate in the students exchange.
I first met Ms. Włodarska in my Communication Theory course during the Fall 2005/06 term. Later on she participated in a number of my courses. Ms. Włodarska was evaluated on the basis of exams in which she performed exceptionally well. During the last two academic years I was her advisor in writing her MA thesis.
Anna is an organized, motivated student interested in the problematic of intercultural dialogue, linguistics and has a wide range of knowledge about philosophy and international relations. Additionally, she has a very positive attitude and truly embraces learning all there is to know about social communication.
In addition to her coursework, Anna also dedicated some of her time working at the European Students Forum AEGEE - Poznań. Her position required not only organizing skills but also IT expertise. She's also a member of the Games Association of Poland and of the Science Circle of Intercultural Communication. The skills acquired through the work in those organizations will be beneficial to all of [First Name] future endeavors. Studying simultaneously at two faculties combined with extracurricular activities gave Anna the ability to manage and organize her time and schedule around different activities without having them interfere with school.
