pros and cons of emigration

pros and cons of emigration

People have been always emigrating - from one country to another, from a village to a city or from the city to the village. Emigration has many advantages - evidence can be plenty of people who left place where they used to live. However, there are some disadvantages, as well.
At first, we must ask a question: why do people migrate? The answer is simple: they want to find more opportunities to develop theirselves and emigration is that, what makes it possible.
The best example is looking for a job. First of all, people want to have a job which is satisfacting. If someone has good qualifications, he or she would apply for the best one, even if this job would be abroad. And it is a chance for this person, because of possibility to develop skills and to improve earnings.
Secondly - it is obvious that people must earn one's bread and if they haven't got any opportunities to do this in their city or country - emigration is the best solution. If they find a job, they can support a family or improve the way of life.
Very often boys and girls who have big ambitions are searching for better education. They learn at universities far from home and they acquire and become more independent. It's very important nowadays.
Apart from that, people who migrate can visit new interesting places and inquire something about new culture. Another advantage of emigration is making new friends - everywhere we can find amazing people.
When someone migrates abroad, he or she can improve foreign language. It is a chance to learn how to speak fluently.
For every plus there is a minus, as well. Sometimes people are forced to alter their hometowns or even countries because of wars, hunger, religion's or ethnick's oppressions. Then they must adopt theirselves to new situation. Very often it is difficult for them: culture shock, language barrier, differences in custom - that all make emigrants feel confused. If reason of people's emigration was politics, people would be forced their families, countries - and that is the main problem of alteration of place where we live - distance makes difficult keeping in touch with people who we love.
In my opinion people shouldn't be forced to emigrate, but if they want to - we can't criticize them. It is their own decision and their own life. It depends on them where they will take up residence. I think emigration is a good possibility to change our life for better.
