Dear Mum and dad,

Well here we are at last! Uncle Jack and Aunt Sarah are great. The farmhouse and the sheds are very big. Everyday we wake up at 6.30 and milk the cows. Do you know that cows moo when they need milking? All Jack's cows are kept in a big cow-shed. Later we have a breakfast at about 8.00. After breakfast I usually go to the pigsty to feed the pigs. Mary doesn't like pigs because she says no sound is more unpleasant than the grunt of a pig. So, she goes to play with the kittens and the lambs. IN fact, right now she is playing with them.

Yes, there are a lot of sheep, too. And there is also a sheepdog. It helps Uncle Jack to round up the stray sheep.

Aunt Sarah takes care of the poultry, you know, cocks, chickens and hens. Their eggs are really good!

In the afternoon we usually go to the stable to groom the horses because in the evening we normally ride. Do you know how to ride? It's very easy. Uncle Jack says that if you want to ride a horse, you just have to love them. Don't worry. We're having a great time.

Love, Mark
