REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR DOOR WINDOW

REMOVAL



Raise the glass the maximum amount
.


REMOVE THE TRIM PANEL
.


Detach the sealing film at the top, to access the window fixing (1), and at the bottom to access the lower fixing of the window mechanism
.


Release the fastener (1)
.


Lower the window using the control on the driver's door (if it does not lower, it must be lowered manually)
.


Unclip the fixed window pillar trim (2)
.


Remove
:


THE INTERIOR WIPE SEAL (3)



THE DOOR FRAME INTERIOR TRIM (4)



Using a spatula, remove the external weather strip (5) starting at the side (A)
.


Work the window groove seal (6) loose, starting at the top corner
.


Pull upwards and remove the front part of the seal
.


Remove the door pillar exterior trim mountings (7)
.


Detach the trim and let it hang down
.


Pull the window upwards to detach it from the door frame
.


Remove the glass
.

REFITTING



Unscrew the lower fixing of the window rail
.


Place the glass on the window without tightening the clamp
.


Fit the glass at the top and ensure that it is properly supported at the base of the slide seal; at the top
.


Tighten the clamp to the torque: 0,8 ± 0,2 danm
.


Lower the window fully
.


Tighten the lower fixing of the window rail
.


Check the operation
.

WARNING :
replace the exterior weather strip assembly if it was deformed on removal
.

IMPERATIVE :
IF THE SEALING SHEET IS TORN, REPLACE IT
.


Refit the finisher panel
.
