Nurikabe Answer

Solution to Nurikabe
By Mitch Jewell
Nurikabe is the name of a logic puzzle where you fill in the grid with black streams and white islands . The is-
lands each have exactly one number in them, which is the number of cells in the island. The streams cannot pool ,
which is to say no rectangle made up of four or more cells can be entirely black. Also, all streams must connect, so
there must be a path from any black cell in the stream to any other. This path is the basis for the answer, which is
obtained by counting the steps along the path from one letter to its duplicate.
