i think you meen grundig sound 4000 for merc. i have dump and i attach it but it`s not absolute correct because i lost data from secured cpu. i regenerate data and radio works fine, but on tape section you must connect short a small switch on uper side of mechanics because it works oposite. this is a mute switch for rewindig and if it`s open you can`t hear nothig from tape. this is software problem. you can work with prog11 ka4cpu with cuted rx tx lines. code is 1626. i be greatfull if somebody have a bether dump

after startig of prog11.exe a litle blue window appears with choice of few CPUs: 711,811, a8 and other..
i try a8 type and after few seconds communication with cpu is active, and a new menu appears with possibilities for erase, bulk programing upload etc. in same place you can finde a configuration of memori where you can see on wich address is prom and eeprom. maybe the cpu in gamma isn`t a8, but with that choice i can work. i work in windows98 without exiting in DOS promt. this type of cpu work also with MOTOR11. if you can`t boot a hc11, nothig of prog11.exe`s menu appears, only an error massage. with soud 4000 only differance is, you must cut rx&tx from pcb and change a quartz. cpu is KA4. in wich radio is your A8 cpu?
