Patient position:
Supine or sitting, with the metatarsals
stabilized and the foot and ankle maintained
in a neutral position. Flex the distal
interphalangeal joints of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th,
and 5th toes.
Examiner pressure:
Against the plantar surface of the distal
phalange of the four toes in the direction of
extension.
Check on the radio button that best describes your test results. If the numeric grade is lower
than 5, click on the NEXT button located on the bottom right hand corner of this page, and
proceed to the Tape Specification Section.
