Description:

This plug-in for Morrowind makes the effort to rectify a serious mistake on the part of BethSoft when they enchanted the armor of the Hands of Almalexia armor. The cuirass came with a "Fortify Heavy Armor" enchatment and the greaves came with a "Fortify Medium Armor" enchantment, both for 5 points....WTF!?!? These are supposed to be the best warriors IN ALL MOURNHOLD and they need HELP with their ARMOR!? These are the guys that the High Ordinators are afraid of and they have crappy 5 point enchantments on most of their stuff and Fortify Armor enchantments on their two best pieces of armor?!

Now that I'm done venting here is what I changed: The shield came with a 'Fortify Block' for 10 which I have raised to 15;asside from the shield all the enchants were only 5 points which is rather stupid, since this armor was (as I understood it, enchanted by Almalexia for the Hands). Right Pauldron's 'Resist Paralysis' has been raised to 25 points from 5. Left Pauldron's 'Resist Poison' has been raised to 25 from 5. Right gauntlet had a 'Fortify Attack' for 5 points, I raised it to 15. Left gauntlet had 'Fortify Strength' of 5, it has been raised to 20. The 'Fortify Agility' on the boots has been raised to 15 points, from 5. The helmet gets the largest default boost, 'Reflect' of 5 is now 'Reflect' of 35;and I added a 'Fortify Magicka' of 50. The 'Fortify Heavy Armor' on the cuirass has been replaced with a 'Fortify Health' enchantment, it raises your health by 100 points. The greaves now have a 'Fortify Fatigue' for 150 points enchantment to replace the 'Fortify Medium Armor' enchantment.

Installation:

Unzip the "Better Her Hand Armor Enchantments (Better)" into either a neutral location like "My Documents" or directly into your Morrowind/Data Files folder. Open the Morrowind Launcher, select Data Files, find Better Her Hand Armor Enchantments (Better) and check the box next to it. Click Okay, and start Morrowind normally.

Removal:

Open your Morrowind/Data Files folder and delete both the Better Her Hand Armor Enchantments (Better) esp file and the Better Her Hand Armor Enchantments (Better) ReadMe file.
