REMOVAL - REFITTING COOLANT PUMP

DRAIN THE COOLING SYSTEM
.


REMOVE THE TIMING BELT
.


Remove
:


the bracket (1)



Remove
:


the tensioning roller (2)



the coolant pump (3)



Remove the coolant pump seal
.

2 -
REFITTING


IMPERATIVE :
always replace the coolant pump seal
.


Position a new seal taking care not to twist it
.


Fit
:


the coolant pump (3)



the tensioning roller (2)


NOTE :
if changing the coolant pump, refit the bolt (4) securing the timing cover
.

IMPERATIVE :
finger tighten then progressively tighten the securing bolts in the order shown
.


Pre-tightening 0,5 da.Nm
.


Tightening torque: 0,8 da.Nm
.


Check the tightening : 0,8 da.Nm
.


Fit
:


the bracket (1)



Tighten
:


the bolts (5) to 6 da.Nm



the bolt (6) to 8 da.Nm



REFIT THE TIMING BELT
.


FILL AND BLEED THE COOLING SYSTEM
.
