Presenter: Good evening and welcome to Teen Problems. Today's show is all about problems at school and our first caller is Nick. Hi.

Nick: Hello. I'm ringing about homework.

Presenter: Right. Do you get too much?

Nick: No. We don't get enough. I think homework is very important and often we don't get any. I asked our teacher to give us more and now my friends don't talk to me. They said I was selfish.

Presenter: They didn't want more homework?

Nick: No, they didn't.

Presenter: And does your teacher give you more?

Nick: She gives me more homework. She's got a special grammar book and she gives me exercises from that. But the other students don't have to do it.

Mum: Look at this room!

David: What's wrong?

Mum: What's wrong? Your clothes are all over the floor and there are books all over your bed.

David: That's because I'm studying for exams!

Mum: But your room is always such a mess! I want this cleaned up before dinner.

Vicky: What are you doing down here so early?

Dad: Sh! Mum is still sleeping. I'm making a birthday surprise for her. Do you want to help me?

Vicky: Sure. What can I do?

Dad: Finish making this cup of tea and I'll cook some eggs and bacon.

Plumber: What's the problem, Ms Johnson?

Woman: It's the wash basin. The water won't go down.

Plumber: Let's have a look… do you wash your hair in here?

Woman: No, but my daughter does.

Plumber: That's what it is. Don't worry. It won't take long.

Woman: How much will that be?

Plumber: Let's see… this plus the sink in the kitchen…

Jane: What am I going to do now! My parents will kill me! I didn't mean to do anything wrong.

Policeman: Calm down. Can you describe him?

Jane: He's five years old. He's got short blond hair and blue eyes. And he had a bike.

Policeman: What's he wearing?

Jane: I'm not sure. He's got a dark blue coat and an orange hat.

Policeman: Where did you last see him?

Jane: He was outside the newsagents. I wanted to buy a magazine and when I came out five minutes later he was not there! Neither was his bike!

Policeman: Don't worry. I'm sure we'll find him.
