Instructions: |
1. Paint the egg carton cup yellow on the inside and the outside, and set aside to dry. |
2. Cut six flower petals out of the yellow construction paper. |
3. Punch a hole in each petal and poke a hole in the top of the dried egg carton cup. |
4. Bend the top 2 inches of the pipe cleaner at a right angle and thread it through the petals followed by the egg carton cup. (You may want to use a little glue to help hold the petals in place.) |
5. Anchor the egg carton cup with a few beads, and bend the pipe cleaner over to secure the beads in place. |
6. Fold a long strip of green construction paper in half and cut a long triangular shape out of it. When you unfold this, it should create long, skinny diamond shape. |
7. Punch a hole in the center of the green diamond piece and thread it halfway up the pipe cleaner stem. |
8. Staple the green paper in place with each side of the “leaf” pointing upward like a daffodil's leaves. |
