I okres

Stosowany w przypadku twierdzeń, które są pewne.

Np. If we miss the bus, tere will be another one in fifteen minutes. – Jeśli spóźnimy się na autobus, przyjedzie następny

If- clause	Main- clause
If+ Present simple	Will
If we hurry,	We’ll catch the bus
If we miss it,	There’ll be another
If it doesn’t rain	We’ll be having picnic
If I don’t practice my golf	I won’t get any better.

II okres

Stosowany, gdy mówimu o naszych przewidywaniach, które nie muszą się sprawdzić lub o sytuacjach które nigdy nie będą miały miejsca.

Np. If I had your figure, I’d eat the whole akces- Gdybym miała twoją figurę zjadłabym wszystkie ciastka
