RETAIL OUTLETS

NDN in cooperation with G&W Projekt is planning construction of 12,000-sqm shopping center in Słubice. Wiesław Załęcki from G&W Design Workshop from Gliwice is supervising administrative procedures connected with plans for the development of a property with an area of over 4.6 hectares located on Wojska Polskiego in Słubice (Lubuskie Voivodship). The investor is the NDN Company from Krakow. The enterprise assumes the construction of two retail-service outlets, a building materials market with an area of approx. 8,000 sqm and
a grocery market with an area of approx. 4,000 sqm. The complex will be complemented with a fuel station and
a carwash. ■

Selgros has purchased land for construction of shopping center in Bydgoszcz. The Selgros Cash&Carry Company has recently purchased land of the former Bydgoszcz Construction Materials Wholesale Warehouse, located at the intersection of Wyścigowa and Startowa Streets in Bydgoszcz. The disassembly of existing warehouses has already begun but the investor has not yet specified the date of the commencement of construction works.

The German chain builds retail outlets with a usable area of 9-10,000 sqm, most often contracting the works in blocks. During the previous construction, in Białystok, it cooperated with Gralbet (constructions) and Elbud and Imtech (installations). ■

BIU Inwest is preparing construction of Castorama shopping center in Jelenia Góra. The BIU Inwest workshop from Katowice is supervising preparations for the construction of a Castorama market in Jelenia Góra (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The investor has already obtained administrative permits and traffic solutions are currently being consulted with city authorities. Let us recall that an outlet with an area of approx. 8,000 sqm will be built in the area of Grunwaldzka, Jana Pawła II and Anieli Krzywoń streets.

BIU Inwest has cooperated with Castorama, for example during the construction of an investment in Kielce, where the general contractor was Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex and Kielecka Grupa Inwestycyjne. ■

Zatoka will build retail-service complex with area of approx. 8,000 sqm and apartment building in Gdańsk. The Zatoka Company, an operator of a chain of supermarkets from the Tri-City (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot) area is preparing the construction of a retail-residential complex on Pomorska Street in Gdańsk. The enterprise will include pulling down of the existing pavilion and the construction of an outlet with a total area of over 10,000 sqm (2,300 sqm of retail space and 9,200 sqm of residential space) on an 0.4-hectare lot. The architectural concept of the investment was prepared by Forma Architekci.

Additionally, the workshop has also prepared development assumptions for the adjoining areas, which will consist of three retail-service buildings with a total area of over 5,600 sqm and a three-story parking lot for 250 vehicles (5,200 sqm).

Attempts are currently being made to adopt a spatial development plan for lots in the area of Pomorska and Gospody streets. ■

Radomska Grupa Kapitałowa is preparing construction of shopping-service gallery in Radom. RGK (Radomska Grupa Kapitałowa) is conducting administrative preparations connected with plans for the development of
a lot at 28 Szewska Street in Radom (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The enterprise will include the construction of a three-story retail-service outlet with an area of approx. 2,000 sqm, called “Galeria na Murach”, in the location of
a disassembled tenement house. The design of the investment was prepared by Bożena Łyjak. Construction works should begin in July and take approx. 14 months. RGK has not yet chosen the general contractor.

RGK is a company created by entrepreneurs from Radom, Roman Saczywko (the owner of Rosabud), Marek Puternicki (chairman of Łuczbud), Krzysztof Lewandowski (Pewel) and Andrzej Paśniewski, a restaurant owner. ■

NOMI will build supermarket with area of over 2,500 sqm in Milanówek. At the end of last year the NOMI Company applied to the City Council of Milanówek (Mazowieckie Voivodship) for permission for the construction of a home & garden type retail outlet. The enterprise, near the Tesco marker on Królewska Street, will consist of the construction of a supermarket with
a development area of over 2,500 sqm and a usable area of over 1,900 sqm. The investment will be complemented with a parking lot for 65 vehicles. ■

Nova Projekt is preparing construction of Renault automobile showroom in Bytom for Pietrzak BB. BB Pietrzak has completed administrative procedures connected with the planned construction of a Renault automobile showroom on Strzelców Bytomskich Street in Bytom (Śląskie Voivodship). The design of the outlet, which will have an area of 1,700 sqm, was prepared by Nova Projekt. ■

Urbano preparing construction of supermarket with area of 1,500 sqm in Świdnica. The construction of
a grocery supermarket with an area of 1,500 sqm is planned in Świdnica on Ofiar Oświęcimskich Street. The investment will be carried out for a yet unidentified German retail chain. Administrative procedures connected with obtaining permission for the construction of the supermarket are being supervised by the Urbano Company from Poznań. ■

PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OUTLETS

Swedwood has purchased lot with area of 61 hectares for construction of production plant in Wschowa. On June 18 the management of Swedwood signed a notarial act of purchase for 61 hectares of land for the construction of a factory in the commune of Wschowa (Lubuskie Voivodship). The company, which will be a part of IKEA's group, will pay 5.25 mln PLN for the lot. The plant will employ 1,000 people. ■

Panattoni will build near Warsaw and Poznań 35,000-sqm warehouses in cooperation with Goldbeck and Assmann. Torfarm has entrusted Panattoni Europe with the construction of “build-to-suit” warehouse-office outlets in the area of Warsaw and Poznań. A building with an area of 23,000 sqm, with a high-storage section of 21,500 sqm and 1,500 sqm of office space, will be built in the area of the capital city. Works will begin in the fourth quarter of this year.

Approx. 10,000 sqm of warehouse space and almost 1,500 sqm of administrative facilities are planned in the region of Wielkopolska. Construction works should begin in the first quarter of next year. The specific locations of the complexes have not been revealed yet. It is, however, known that documentation of both investments is being prepared by Assmann Polska Grupa Projektowa and the general contractor will be Goldbeck. ■

Van Heyghen will build factory with area of 10,000 sqm for over 70 mln PLN in Stargard Szceciński. The Belgian company Van Heyghen Staal has purchased over 10 hectares of land located in Stargardzki Park Przemysłowy. The investor is planning to build a plant dealing with the distribution and refinement of steel. The first stage will consist of the construction of a hall with an area of approx. 10,000 sqm. The cost of the enterprise is estimated at 17 mln euro (approx. 70 mln PLN). Declared employment will reach approx. 100 people. Construction works should be completed in January 2010.

The company is represented in Poland by the Karniol, Małecki i Wspólnicy law firm. ■

EWT Truck&Trailer will build shopping-service center with area of approx. 10,000 sqm in Stryków. EWT Truck&Trailer is conducting preparations for the development of a 17-hectare property in Stryków (Łódzkie Voivodship). The investor is planning to build a complex of outlets with a total area of 10,000 sqm. The enterprise will consist of the construction of a trailer servicing building, a Mercedes-Benz servicing hall, a Mercedes-Benz spare parts warehouse, a paint shop, diagnostics station, auto body shop, sales and servicing office,
a showroom and a trailer assembly hall. The cost of the enterprise is estimated at 50 mln PLN. Negotiations concerning the choice of the general contractor of the investment are in their final stages. ■

Construction of production plant with area of 4,000 sqm is being prepared in Gostycyn. Preparations for the construction of a chocolate production plant in Gostycyn (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship) are at the stage of preparing the local spatial development plan. The enterprise will consist of the construction of a hall with an area of approx. 4,000 sqm in the area of Bydgoska and Słoneczna streets. Declared employment should reach approx. 50 people. The investor is a family company tied to city councilor Andrzej Bonna. ■

DB Projekt will receive 196,000 PLN for modernization design of servicing hall in Warsaw. The DB Projekt workshop from Warsaw has received an order from Management of the Institute of Power Engineering for preparing the modernization design of the servicing hall on Mory Street. Documentation of the outlet, with an area of 2,000 sqm, should be ready within 5 months. GiD Project Team also tried to acquire the contract, with a gross price of 344,000 PLN. ■

Miastoprojekt Białystok will design PZL-Świdnik laboratory complex. Miastoprojekt Białystok has been chosen by PZL-Świdnik as the designer of the Systems Integration Laboratory on Lotników Polskich Avenue in Świdnik (Lubelskie Voivodship). The functional-use program assumes the construction of a 3-story building with an area of 1,500 sqm and a cubature of 7,700 meters3. The order should be completed by August 31 of this year. ■

OFFICE BUILDINGS

Hochtief is negotiating purchase of over 4 ha of land in Warsaw for office-residential-hotel-service complex. Hochtief Project Development is planning to purchase over 4 hectares of land located in Warsaw at the junction of Żwirki i Wigury Street and 1 Sierpnia Street, currently taken up by automobile showrooms. The preliminary concept assumes the construction of a complex of office buildings with a total area of 63,500 sqm, a shopping-service gallery (13,600 sqm), a hotel (11,000 sqm), approx. 300 apartments and underground garages for over 1,700 vehicles. The investor has already realized preliminary administrative procedures, but has not yet released the dates of the works. ■

PBE Elbud will build warehouse-office center with area of 30,000 sqm in Lublin. It was announced last week that Elbud, a company which is part of the Wikana capital group, received permission for realizing activity in Lublin, in the Europark Mielec Special Economic Zone. The company is planning the construction of a logistics center (15,000 sqm) and a complex of four office buildings with
a total area of 16,000 sqm on a 4-hectare lot. The developer is conducting advanced preparations with potential tenants and banks willing to co-finance the investment. ■

APA Kuryłowicz will design “Powiśle Park” office-residential building in Warsaw with area of 25,000 sqm. Mazowiecka Gas Company will entrust the APA Kuryłowicz & Associates Workshop with preparing the design of an office-apartment complex, planned on Kruczkowskiego Street in Warsaw. The complex, called “Powiśle Park” will include an office building with an area of 13,000 sqm, housing the investor's new seat and an apartment section, consisting of 170 units (12,000 sqm). It is expected that the investment will be put to use in 2013. ■

Truss Real Estate will build office building with area of approx. 5,000 sqm in Gdańsk. Alfa Investment,
a dependent company of Truss Real Estate, is planning to commence the construction of an office outlet in the area of Piastowska Street and Grunwaldzka Avenue in July of this year. The enterprise will consist of the construction of the Alfa building, with an area of approx. 5,000 sqm. The design was prepared by “Horus Firma Architektoniczna”.

The three-story office building will be a part of the Oliva Business Park complex and will be completed with an underground parking lot for almost 90 vehicles. The investor has already received building permission and
a general contractor is currently being sought. ■

Biliński has prepared design of office building with area of 7,500 sqm in Łódź for OKAM Group. OKAM Group has obtained permission for developing a property at
6 Dowborczyków Street in Łódź. The realization of the enterprise, designed by Piotr Biliński, will cost 48 mln PLN and will consist of the construction of a 6-story office building with an area of approx. 7,500 sqm. The works should commence in mid 2010. ■

17 applications have been submitted for design of teaching-cultural outlet for over 46 mln PLN in Katowice. Seventeen applications for taking part in a procedure have been submitted in a tender organized by ASP (Academy of Fine Arts) in Katowice for preparing the documentation of the Education and Culture Center, planned in the area of Raciborska and Koszarowa streets. Participants in the procedure include: Lipski & Wujek, Niras, Ozone and OCSC consortium, Studio Architektoniczne Kraków, ABM Wycena Nieruchomości, An Archi Group, APA Kuryłowicz&Associates, BPBK Bydgoszcz, Pas Projekt Archi Studio, Archimedia, AB Projekt, Venit, Płaskowicki & Partnerzy, Perbo-Projekt, Spart, Susuł&Strama Architekci, Atelier PS.

The enterprise, the cost of which is estimated at 46 mln PLN, will include the construction of a 3.5-story building with a usable area of 5,000 sqm. Design works, the value of which is estimated at 2.3 mln PLN gross, will be completed by February 28, 2010. ■

EBM has submitted bid for construction of 17,000-sqm school complex with for 41.5 mln PLN in Józefów. The “Sternik” Education and Family Support Association has admitted Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex (41.5 mln PLN), Kalter (43.9 mln PLN) and Instalbud (44.5 mln PLN) into the second stage of the proceedings for the construction of the “Strumienie” educational complex in Józefów near Warsaw. Other companies which tried to acquire the contract were: Sunley Polska, Karmar, FMB, Budbaum, Instal Warszawa, PBM Południe and Prochem. Bids submitted by Strabag and the Sadyba Corporation were not considered due to formal reasons.

The complex, with an area of 17,000 sqm along with an underground garage (approx. 2,000 sqm) on 3 Maja Street was designed by P&T workshop from Warsaw. Works on the investment will take 18 months. ■

ITP will build teaching complex for over 20 mln euro in Rzeszów. Theological-Pastoral Institute (ITP) has commenced obtaining administrative permits connected with plans for the construction of a teaching complex on Witosa Street in Rzeszów. The value of the enterprise, subsidized from EU funds, is estimated at over 20 mln euro. The procedure of choosing the project manager of the investment is being realized now. ■

UMWP is seeking designer of library with area of approx. 16,000 sqm. The deadline for submitting bids with a tender deposit of 150,000 PLN in a tender procedure for designing Książnia Podlaska Library in Białystok passes on July 1. The cost of the enterprise is estimated at approx.
71 mln PLN, including some 61 mln PLN which will come from EU subsidies. The coordinator of the construction works on the outlet, which will have an area of 16,000 sqm, is the Podlaskie Voivodship Marshall's Office. Documentation of the enterprise will be prepared within 7 months. ■

Medical University in Łódź is seeking contractor of teaching center with area of 11,200 sqm. Bids with
a tender deposit of 1.35 mln PLN for the construction of the Teaching Center of the Medical University in Łódź are being accepted until July 6. The outlet with an area of 11,200 sqm and a cubature of 51,600 meters3 was designed by the “Architekton” workshop from Łódź. Works are planned to be completed on June 30, 2011. ■

Łódź University of Technology is seeking designer of teaching outlet with area of 8,000 sqm. Bids for the contracting of a teaching-laboratory outlet of the Faculty of Mechanics of the Łódź University of Technology are being accepted until June 30. The enterprise, known under the working name of “Engineer Factory of the 21st Century”, between Żwirki, Radwańska andn Żeromskiego streets, will be a 5-story building with an area of 8,000 sqm and
a cubature of 52,000 meters3. The design should be prepared by November 10. ■

ECM Group will supervise construction of PWST teaching outlet with area of 8,000 sqm in Wrocław. PWST (Leon Solski Theatrical Academy in Krakow) has entrusted ECM Group with a contract worth 475,000 PLN for serving as contract engineer on the development of the Wrocław branch of the school. The enterprise, designed by KKM Kozień Architekci workshop from Krakow, will consist of the construction of an outlet with an area of 8,000 sqm. The planned date of the realization of the investment, the cost of which is estimated at 50 mln PLN, is the second quarter of 2011. ■

Authorities of Warsaw-Białołęka are seeking contractor of school with cubature of 26,100 meters3. Commune Council of Warsaw-Białołęka has announced a tender procedure for the general contracting of the development and modernization of Elementary School Nr 112 on Berensona Street. The investment, designed by LS Plan from Łódź, will include an outlet with a total area of 6,800 sqm and a cubature of 26,100 meters3, including 5,900 sqm (21,600 meters3) which will be taken up by the newly added section. Bids with a tender deposit of 550,000 PLN are being accepted until June 30. The order should be completed by June 30, 2011. ■

PWSZ in Konin is seeking contractor of teaching building with area of 4,100 sqm. PWSZ (Public Vocational College) in Konin (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) is accepting bids with a tender deposit of 100,000 PLN for the construction of a Lecture-Teaching Center on Popiełuszki Street. The outlet, with an area of 4,100 sqm and a cubature of 33,700 meters3, was designed by Małgorzata Paszyn from the “Locum” Company from Kalisz. The investment should be completed in December 2010. ■

Ecores will prepare modernization design of military outlets in Chełm for 225,000 PLN. Regional Management of Infrastructure in Lublin has entrusted the Ecores workshop from Rzeszów with preparing the modernization design of a training building and army barracks on the premises of military unit number 4819 on Lubelska Street in Chełm. The order, which includes outlets with a total area of 3,700 sqm and a cubature of 19,200 meters3, will be completed by the end of October of this year. ■

Rząśnia commune announced tender for construction of teaching complex with area of 3,700 sqm in Biała. The commune of Rząśnia (Łódzkie Voivodship) is accepting bids with a deposit of 200,000 PLN for the general contracting of an Elementary School in Biała until June 29. The investment, designed by Małgorzata Paszyn's Lokum workshop from Kalisz, will include the construction of a complex with a usable area of 3,700 sqm and a cubature of 24,000 meters3, which will consist of the construction of a 2-story school building (14,200 meters3) and a sports hall (9,800 sqm). The enterprise, with an estimated cost of 13.8 mln PLN gross, will be completed by July 29, 2011. ■

Energy Investors will develop office building in Opole for 7.3 mln PLN. Energy Investors has won a tender for the contracting on the development of the seat of the Voivodship Traffic Center on Oleska Street in Opole for 7.3 mln PLN gross. The investment, designed by An Archi Group from Gliwice, will consist of the construction of an outlet with an area of 2,300 sqm and a cubature of 6,400 meters3. The enterprise will be completed within
12 months. ■

Ezechiasz Association is seeking designer of teaching center in Białystok. The “Ezechiasz” Association is accepting bids for the functional concept and design documentation of the Pokolenie JPII Education-Formation Center until June 29. A 3-story complex (a preschool, an elementary school and a middle school) for 340 students, along with a 40 x 20m gymnasium and an auditorium, will be built on a 1-hectare lot on Herberta Street in Białystok. The order should be completed within 5 months. ■

UMWL is seeking contractors of development of Lublin Park of Science-Technology. The Lubelskie Voivodship Marshall's Office is accepting bids with a tender deposit of 200,000 PLN for the contracting of two buildings with
a total area of 2,100 sqm and a cubature of 14,800 meters3. The investment on Droga Męczenników Majdanka and B. Dobrzeńskiego Streets will be carried out for the Lublin Park of Science-Technology. Works on the outlets, desgined by the Stelmach i Partnerzy workshop, should be completed in mid September 2011. ■

Archimedia will design preschool with area of 2,700 sqm in Kielce. The Archimedia workshop from Poznań has submitted the lowest bid, worth 121,000 PLN gross, in a tender procedure for the documentation of the preschool on Szajnowicza Street in Kielce. Eleven workshops are taking part in the procedure, organized by the City Council. Let us recall that the enterprise will consist of the construction of a 2-story building with an area of 2,700 sqm and a cubature of 11,000 meters3. Design works should be completed by November 30 of this year. ■

HOUSING INVESTMENTS

MTWW will prepare for LC Corp construction of residential complex with 1,600 apartments in Krakow. Michał Pers from MTWW Architekci is supervising preparations for the construction of the Zielony Złocień housing complex in Krakow. The enterprise, financed by LC Corp, in the area of Malachitowa, Złocieniowa and Braci Czeczów streets will consist of the development of over 10 hectares of land. Four-story buildings with over 1,600 apartment units (over 92,000 sqm) will be built there. ■

CDZ-3 is preparing construction of residential-service-retail complex in Warsaw. CDZ-3 is conducting preparations for developing a 2.6-hectare property in Warsaw. The investment will include the construction of
a complex of residential-retail-service outlets with
a development area of approx. 10,000 sqm (including
8,000 sqm of retail-service space and approx. 2,000 sqm of residential space) in the area of 71-73 Ostrobramska Street, Trasa Siekierkowska and Rodziewiczówny Street. The enterprise assumes the construction of three residential buildings, ranging in height from 18 to 24 stories and
a three-story retail outlet, The possibility of completing the complex with a hotel is also being taken into account. The architectural concept was prepared by Wojciech Rataj from the Arch-Bud workshop.

CDZ-3 belongs to Edward and Maja Kleszczewscy, Toyota dealers, managing the Toyota-Radość showroom. ■

Plus3-Architekci has prepared residential complex with area of 25,000 sqm for Greenfields in Warsaw. Plus3-Architekci (formerly Staldrew) has prepared a concept for the development of over 1 hectare of land located in the area of Sokratesa and Rokokowa streets in Warsaw-Bielany. The project assumes the construction of
a residential complex with a usable area of approx. 25,000 sqm. The lot belongs to the Veolia Company, represented by Greenfields Investments. The company is getting ready to sell the lot for 30 mln PLN. ■

Volumetric MK Polska has entrusted PHU Łucz-Bud with contracting of apartment building in Kielce. Representatives of Volumetric MK Polska have informed of having entrusted Łucz-Bud from Radom with the general contracting of a residential-service outlet called Jagiellońska Point. The outlet, with some 100 apartments, was designed by the Detan Company. Works on the investment will take until the end of next year. ■

Orlex is planning construction of complex on almost
16 hectares in Gościnin near Wejherowo. The Orlex Company from Wejherowo is planning the construction of a residential complex in Gościnin (Pomorskie Voivodship). A lot with an area of almost 15.8 hectares, which the developer purchased from the authorities of Wejherowo at the end of last year for over 6.5 mln PLN, will be used for the investment. The details of the development of the lot are not known yet, but it is preliminarily said that it will be developed with both single- and multi-family housing. ■

MPP Architekci office makes lowest offer regarding designing complex with 320 flats in Kielce. Last week, offers were opened in a tender for the development of
a concept for a residential complex in the area of Puscha and Kazimierza Wielkiego streets in Kielce and designs of the first 3 buildings. The lowest offer, with the price of 242,000 PLN gross, has been made by the MPP Architekci office from Mińsk Mazowiecki. Other participants of the tender are Hausman i Partnerzy, Chorzów based Profil and Inwestprojekt Świętokrzyski. The whole investment will comprise the construction of six 5-story buildings with
320 flats with areas of 32-68 sqm. Architectural works are to take 8 months. Works on the 1st stage will begin in 2010, and the remaining part of the complex will begin a year later. ■

BPBK wants to design TBS Motława residential complex in Gdańsk. One offer, by Elbląg based Biuro Projektów Budownictwa Komunalnego (BPBK), has been made in a tender issued by TBS Motława concerning the architectural and construction concepts for residential complexes on Starowiejska and Huta Szklana streets. BPBK wants to prepare the concepts for over 287,900 PLN gross.

TBS is planning to use for building developments land plots with a total area of over 11,200 sqm - 7,500 sqm on Starowiejska Street and 3,600 sqm on Huta Szklana Street. The contract is to be carried out within 210 days since from the issuance of the local spatial development plan. ■

Praga-Północ district authorities seek contractor for residential buildings with area of 7,700 sqm. Until 15th July, the authorities of the Praga-Północ district of Warsaw will be collecting offers with a deposit of 300,000 PLN concerning the contracting of two 5-story multi-family buildings on Białostocka Street. Documentation of buildings with a total area of 7,700 sqm and cubature of 16,500 meters3 and 71 flats, has been prepared by Krakow based office Kontrapunkt V-projekt. The investment is to be finalized in June 2011. ■

Warsaw-Żoliborz authorities seek contractor for residential building with area of 6,700 sqm. Until
22nd June, Warsaw-Żoliborz District Office will be collecting offers, along with a deposit of 190,000 PLN, for the construction of a communal building with 70 flats on Sybilli Street. The six-story building with an area of 6,700 sqm and cubature of 26,400 meters3 has been designed by Warsaw based office Neoinvest. The investment is to be finalized in March 2011. ■

Marbud Invest makes lowest offer for designing residential complex with area of 8,000 sqm in Warsaw. Offers were recently opened in a tender for the development of a design for a residential building on Gotarda Street in Warsaw. According to preliminary assumptions, the investment will comprise the construction of a building with an area of over 8,000 sqm and cubature of 32,000 meters3.

There are 12 companies competing for the contract; the lowest offer - 304,000 PLN - has been made by Marbud Invest. Other participants of the tender include Małeccy Biuro Projektowe (364,000 PLN), DMS Service (348,000 PLN) and Linea Architekci (346,000 PLN). ■

PB Feniks and Dombud will erect residential buildings with area of 5,000 sqm in Chorzów and Ruda Śląska. Regionalne Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego (RTBS) in Tychy has concluded tenders for the construction of 3 multi-family buildings. Dombud will erect a building with a usable area of 1,400 sqm and cubature of 5,200 meters3 on Karola Miarki Street in Chorzów.

Meanwhile, Przedsiębiorstwo Feniks is going to erect
2 buildings (3,500 sqm / 15,000 meters3 in total) on Fitelberga St. in Ruda Śląska. Works on the investments, designed by Chorzów based office Profil, will take
18 months. ■

Realbud begins construction of residential-service building in Szczecin. Realbud has begun earthworks for the construction of a shopping-service building on Krzywoustego St. in Szczecin. The building will have six stories, with shopping premises on the ground floor, 50 flats with a usable area of 2,500 sqm, and an underground garage. The general contractor is Warbud-Bis, and the design has been prepared by Joanna Marcinkowska. The shell structure is to be ready next year in May. ■

TBS Biłgoraj is planning construction of residential complex with approx. 60 flats. Social Building Association (TBS) in Biłgoraj (Lubelskie Voivodship) has issued a tender for the development of design documentation for a multi-family building on Włosiankarska Street. A 4-story building with approx. 60 flats is to be erected on a land plot with an area of 4,800 sqm. Offers (no deposit required) will be collected until 22nd June. ■

TBS in Wałcz seeks contractor for multi-family building with 56 flats. Until 30th June, Social Building Association (TBS) in Wałcz (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) will be collecting offers, along with a deposit of 50,000 PLN, concerning general contracting of
a residential building on Zdobywców Pokoju Av. The cubature of the building with 56 flats will amount to 16,100 meters3, and the total area will amount to 4,700 sqm (including 2,700 sqm of usable area). The design of the investment has been prepared by Piła based Spółdzielnia Obsługi Inwestycyjnej Dompil. Works on the contract are to be finalized by 20th November of next year. ■

TBS in Jarosław is planning construction of building with approx. 50 flats. Jarosław (Podkarpackie Voivodship) based Social Building Association (TBS) is planning the construction of a residential building on Synów Pułku. The investment, the cost of which is estimated at 8.5 million PLN, will comprise the construction of a 5-story building with approx. 50 flats and a service-office section on the ground floor. Currently, the company Inwest-Rol, which is acting as substitute investor, has issued a tender for the design and general contracting of the investment. Applications concerning admission to tender (deposit 150,000 PLN) will be collected until 19th June. ■

Domex-Bud is collecting contracting offers for construction of residential building in Wrocław. Domex-Bud has informed that preparations for the realization of a residential investment at 17 Wałbrzyska St. in Wrocław have begun again. The investment will comprise the construction of a multi-family building with a usable area of approx. 1,500 sqm, with 27 flats. Currently, offers are being collected from companies interested in contracting of the investment. ■

HOTELS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS

B&B Hotels hired RD Bud to build two-star hotel with 100 rooms. B&B Hotels has ordered a contract to RD Bud concerning general contracting of a hotel in Toruń, in the area of Dąbrowskiego, Szumana and Wałów gen. Sikorskiego streets, on a land plot purchased from Adam Brzuszkiewicz. The design of a 5-story building with approx. 100 rooms meeting 2-star standards has been prepared by Krakow based office Abrapol.

This is the second hotel investment RD Bud is going to build in Toruń. We have informed in PREM that the French company had acquired a contract from Orbis regarding the construction of Ibis and Etap hotels. ■

PPiP is planning construction of hotel-recreation complex in Toruń. Krzysztof Mielewczyk, the main shareholder of the company Polskie Pierze i Puch (PPiP), operating also in the development line of trade, including the hotel segment, has made an offer to lease the land plot on Olbrachta Street in Toruń from the assignee in bankruptcy of the Polmos factory. The entrepreneur is planning to open a brewery in the remaining buildings, and to build a hotel complex with several dozen beds and an aqua park on the adjacent land plot. The construction works will begin no earlier than at the end of next year.

Another offer for leasing Polmos grounds has been made by another local businessman, Henryk Lipski, who was planning to buy the factory together with Mielewczyk 7 years ago. ■

Resbex will build hotel-service complex in Radymno for Alex-Pol. Resbex has begun preparatory works for the construction of a hotel-service-restaurant complex on Słowackiego St. in Radymno (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The investor is Przemyśl based company Alex-Pol. The construction should last until the end of September of next year. ■

Synergia purchases historical palace with area of 1,200 sqm in Tychy for hotel purposes. The company Synergia has purchased, for over 3.1 million PLN, 2 hectares of land at 2 Katowicka St. in Tychy. The land plot is built over e.g. with a Browarniany Palace with usable area of approx. 1,200 sqm. The investor is planning to open a hotel there. The final architectural concept of the investment has not been chosen yet. The works will be supervised by the conservator of historical buildings. ■

Arch-Deco will design Non-Invasive Medicine Center with area of 40,000 sqm in Gdańsk. Arch-Deco has won a contest for the design of a Non-Invasive Medicine Center in Gdańsk. Gdańsk Medical University (GUM), which issued the contest, is planning to build the complex in the area of Smoluchowskiego Street, on Medical Academy property. The building's architecture will be based on the Invasive Medicine Center, which is currently under construction. The works will comprise the construction of a building with a total area of approx. 40,000 sqm. ■

Grontmij and Eko Inwest will supervise construction of Świętokrzyska Philharmonics. The consortium of Grontmij and Eko Inwest will acquire a contract worth 675,000 PLN gross concerning the function of substitute investor on the construction of the International Cultures Center in the area of Żeromskiego and Głowackiego streets in Kielce. The plans anticipate the construction, on the basis of design by Piw-Paw Architekci office, of a complex with a usable area of over 13,700 sqm and cubature of 71,600 meters3, which will hold Świętokrzyska Philharmonics. Works on the investment will take 2 years.

Let us recall that offers for general contracting of the investment are currently being collected. ■

Budimex Dromex wants to build football stadium in Gdynia for 78.4 million PLN. In the past few days, Gdynia Sports and Recreation Center (GOSiR) opened offers from 9 companies competing for the contract for general contracting for the extension and modernization of the football stadium of the Arka club. The lowest offer for the realization of the investment - 78.4 million PLN - has been made by Budimex Dromex. Other candidates for the contract area Hochtief (79.2 million PLN), Mostostal Warszawa (81.7 million PLN), Allcon (82.2 million PLN), Pol Aqua (83.9 million PLN), Polimex Mostostal
(84.5 million PLN), Warbud (90.9 million PLN), consortium of PBG-Doraco-Hydrobudowa (100.2 million PLN) and PORR (105.2 million PLN). The design of the investment on Olimpijska Street has been prepared by the SPAK office. Works on the investment are to take
13 months. ■

Mostostal Warszawa offers to build sports center in Puławy for 46 million PLN. An offer with a value of
46 million PLN, made by the consortium with Mostostal Warszawa as leader and with Acciona Infraestructuras, Graboplan Sảtorgyảrtỏ ẻs Mữszaki Konfekciỏ Korlảtolt Felelỏssẻgữ Tảrsasảg, Tamex Obiekty Sportowe and Polmil as partners, has been chosen as the best in a tender for the modernization and extension of the City Sports and Recreation Center on Hauke Bossaka Street in Puławy (Lubelskie Voivodship). A consortia with Swietelsky and Mostostal Puławy as leaders also participated in the final stage of the tender. ■

Erbud will build medical center in Rzeszów for over 51 million PLN. The management of Erbud recently made an official press announcement saying that soon they will sign a contract worth 51.1 million PLN gross concerning the modernization of the Regional Rehabilitation and Education Center for Children and Youth in Rzeszów.
A cheaper offer (50.9 million PLN) in the tender has been made by the consortium established by Grupa 3J and Tehand. Another candidate for the contract was Inżynieria Rzeszów (58.2 million PLN).

The investment will comprise the construction, on the basis of the existing shell structure, of a complex with an area of approx. 9,000 sqm. The design of the investment has been prepared by Rzeszów based office ST Architekci. The construction works are to take 26 months. ■

Bud-Med will design hospital building with area of 7,700 sqm in Białystok. J. Śniadecki Independent Public Voivodship General Hospital will order a contract worth 1.3 million PLN gross to Bud-Med, concerning the development of documentation for the construction of
a surgery ward at 25 Skłodowskiej-Curie Street in Białystok. Another candidate for the contract was the Sosak-Sosak office, with the price of 1.7 million PLN.

The investment will comprise the construction of
a building with an area of 7,700 sqm net and cubature of 33,200 meters3. The next stage of the investment will comprise the modernization of the existing part, with
a cubature of 46,800 meters3. Architectural works are to be finalized by 21st December of this year. ■

Vectra-Pribo consortium wants to build aqua park in Ostrołęka for over 24.8 million PLN. Nine offers have been submitted in a tender for the construction of an aqua park in Ostrołęka (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The lowest of them, with the price of 24.83 million PLN gross, has been made by the consortium of Vectra and Pribo. Other participants of the tender are PB Nickel (26.68 million PLN), Budimex Dromex (25.69 million PLN), Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex (25.44 million PLN), Unibep
(26.78 million PLN), Zambet (26.71 million PLN), consortia of ABM Solid-Instal (26.58 million PLN), Tiwwal-Budbaum (27.64 million PLN) and Mostostal Warszawa-Chemobudowa (28.28 million PLN).

Sports-recreation complex on Witosa Street will have net area of over 6,600 sqm. The design has been prepared by the consortium of PA Kornatowski and BUP Instalkomfort. ■

Metrolog will build medical center in Poznań for over 24.5 million PLN. Metrolog has signed a contract worth over 24.5 million PLN gross concerning the construction of a medical center in Poznań. The plans anticipate the extension, by approx. 2,500 sqm, of the Surgery Ward and the Central Sterilization Room of the Voivodship Hospital at 7/19 Juraszów Street in Poznań. The design of the building has been prepared by the Intech office. Works on the investment will take 3 years. ■

Flisbud will build Center for Film Culture in Zamość for 13.8 million PLN. The president of Zamość has ordered a contract worth 13.8 million PLN net to Janów Podlaski based company Flisbud concerning the general contracting of the seat of the Center for Film Culture on Odrodzenia Street. The design of the building with an area of 2,100 sqm has been prepared by Łódź based office Plus Art. The contract regarding management of the construction, which is to be carried out by the end of February 2010, has been ordered to Zamojska Dyrekcja Inwestycji.

Other offers have been made by Awbud (19.5 million PLN), consortium of Instalbud Rzeszów-Resbud
(17.6 million PLN), Budmat (15 million PLN). An offer by the consortium Flis-Termochem (13.47 million PLN) was rejected due to formal reasons. ■

MOSiR in Kielce seeks architect for roofed swimming pool with area of 3,100 sqm. Until 25th June, the management of the City Sports and Recreation Center (MOSiR) in Kielce will be collecting offers, with a deposit of 300,000 PLN, for the design and construction of
a roofed swimming pool at the Barwinek residential complex. The functional concept of the 2-story building with an area of 3,100 sqm has been prepared at Zbigniew Miechówek's office ELA. The works should be finalized by 31st August 2010. ■

Anna-Bud will modernize “Kadzielnia” amphitheater in Kielce for 15.7 million PLN. Three companies were interested in a tender for the modernization of the “Kadzielnia” amphitheater in Kielce. It has been decided that the best offer had been made by Blicz based “Anna-Bud”, with the price of 15.7 million PLN. The second bidder was Kielce based company “Dorbud” with the price of 17.8 million PLN. Pol-Aqua has been excluded from the tender due to formal reasons. The design of the building with an area of 2,800 sqm has been prepared by Krakow based office IMB Asymetria. The works, being supervised by Kielce based Eko Inwest, are to be finalized by 31st May 2010. ■

Condite offers to build roofed swimming pool in Włoszczowa for 16 million PLN. Representatives of the Włoszczowa Commune Office (Świętokrzyskie Voivodship) have informed PREM that Condite had made the lowest offer (16 million PLN) for the construction of
a swimming pool on Wiśniowa Street. Other candidates for the contract are Gutkowski, Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex, Dorbud, Kartel, Agat, TKD Dominik Nawara and Flisbud. Design documentation of the building with an area of 2,200 sqm and cubature of 14,600 meters3 has been prepared by Kielce based office “Arcad”. The works are to be finalized by 31st July 2010. ■

Condite-Polmil consortium wants 15 million PLN for building swimming pool in Strawczyn commune. The consortium of Kielce based companies Condite and Polmil has made the best offer (15 million PLN) in a tender for the construction of a sports-recreation center in Strawczynek, in Strawczyn commune (Świętokrzyskie Voivodship). Other participants of the tender were: Vectra (21.3 million PLN), Kartel (16.75 million PLN), Dorbud (18.68 million PLN) and Eiffage Mitex (15.53 million PLN). Due to formal reasons, offers made by Fewaterm and PBUH Agat have been rejected.

A swimming pools complex is to be an integral part of the complex with an area of over 4,600 sqm and cubature of 23,000 meters3. The investment will be based on the design prepared by the “Dom z Klasą M.M. Othman” Company. The construction works will last until the end of June 2011. ■

UMWD seeks contractor for hospital pavilion worth
47 million PLN in Wrocław. 30th June is the deadline for submitting applications to the Marshal's Office of Dolnośląskie Voivodship concerning admission to tender for the construction of a pediatric pavilion in the area of the J. Gromkowski Voivodship Specialist Hospital on Koszarowa St. in Wrocław.

Ten contractors will be invited to submit offers with
a deposit of 1 million PLN. Documentation for the 4-story building with an area of 10,500 sqm and cubature of 46,800 meters3 has been prepared by Wrocław based Wojewódzkie Biuro Projektów. The investment, worth approx. 47 million PLN, should be finalized in September 2011. ■

ECM Group will receive 389,000 PLN for supervising construction of European Center for Polish Numismatics. Management of the National Museum in Krakow has hired ECM Group as substitute investor for the modernization of the historical 19th century Czapskich Palace on Piłsudskiego Street for the purposes of the European Center for Polish Numismatics (ECNP). The architectural design has been prepared by Pracownia Konserwacji Zabytków Arkona, and the interior decoration has been designed by Jacek Budyn.

The ECNP project is to include the creation, for approx. 27 million PLN, of an exhibition and research center, library, exhibition hall with multimedia systems, and restaurant premises. The works are to be finalized in June 2013. Other candidates for the contract were the consortium of PM Group Polska and Project Management Limited, Ekocentrum and PxM Projekt-Południe. ■

Falbud becomes general contractor for extension of hospital in Nysa for 14.3 million PLN. Falbud has acquired a contract worth 14.3 million PLN gross concerning the extension of the City Hospital Complex in Nysa (Opolskie Voivodship). The investment, designed by the Arplan office, will comprise the construction of
a 4-story building with 180 beds, laboratory and social facilities on Św. Piotra Street. The investment, the works of which will take 24 months, is being supervised by Inwestdim. ■

Ekobud and OPB Holding will build swimming pool in Stanisławów Pierwszy near Warsaw for 11.9 mln PLN. The authorities of Nieporęt commune near Warsaw have ordered a contract worth 11.9 million PLN to the consortium of Ostróda based companies Ekobud and OPB Holding concerning the construction of a roofed swimming pool in Stanisławów Pierwszy on Jana Kazimierza Street. The design of the building with a usable area of 2,700 sqm and cubature of 11,000 meters3 has been prepared at the Łódź based office LS Plan.

Last week, a tender for the function of contract engineer was also concluded; the function will be performed by Ostrołęka based Wojewódzka Dyrekcja Inwestycji, and the remuneration will amount to 1.2 % of value of the supervised works. Works on the contract are to be finalized by 30th November 2011. ■

Ekocentrum Wrocław has been chosen as substitute investor for construction of swimming pool in Strzelin. The authorities of Strzelin (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) have chosen the offer by the consortium of Ekocentrum Wrocław and Biuro Inwestorskie Janusza Rybki, worth approx. 369,000 PLN gross, in a tender for substitute investor of a roofed swimming pool. Other participants of the tender were Wrocławskie Biuro Inwestorskie, with the lowest offer - 328,000 PLN, and Miastoprojekt Wrocław (approx. 532,300 PLN). ■

Kietrz authorities seek contractor for roofed swimming pool with cubature of approx. 12,000 sqm. Kietrz commune has issued a tender for general contracting of
a roofed swimming pool on Kościuszki Street. The investment will comprise the construction of a building with a cubature of nearly 12,000 meters3, with the main pool sized 25 x 12.5 m. Offers with a deposit of 100,000 PLN are to be submitted by 1st July. Completion of the investment will take 18 months. ■

Przemysłówka Gliwice will build medical center in Chorzów for 9.6 million PLN. Gliwickie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego has made the lowest offer, with the price of 9.6 million PLN gross, in a tender for the extension of the Chorzów Center for Pediatry and Oncology on Turchana Street. Other participants of the tender are Dombud, Monterin, Grupa 3J, Condite, Maxbud and ZBH Andrzej Muc.

The investment, the documentation of which has been prepared by Katowice based office AP Projekt, will comprise the extension of the usable area of the B1 building by 1,700 sqm. Completion of the investment is to take 16 months. ■

Consortium Borma-Interbud will build sports hall in Radom for over 7.7 million PLN. The authorities of Radom (Mazowieckie Voivodship) have decided that the offer with the price of 7.7 million PLN gross, made by the consortium of Borma-Interbud, is the best in a tender for the construction of a sports hall on Kościuszki Street in Radom, for the purposes of the Construction Schools Complex. Design documentation of the building with an area of 2,700 sqm and cubature of 22,300 meters3 has been prepared by Małgorzata Szkutnik-Kijak. The works are to be finalized by 28th October 2010.

Other participants of the tender were Wid-bas
(7.9 million PLN), PoiR Lis Paweł (10.8 million PLN), Atlantis Construction (8.9 million PLN), RO.SA.-bud
(7.8 million PLN) and Kombud (8.3 million PLN). ■

Sokółka district seeks contractor for sports hall in Dąbrowa Białostocka. Until 29th June, the Management of Sokólski District (Podlaskie Voivodship) will be collecting offers with a deposit of 100,000 PLN for the construction of a sports hall at the gen. Nikodema Sulika Schools Complex in Dąbrowa Białostocka. The planned building, the documentation of which has been prepared by Biuro Projektów Obiektów Sportowych i Rekreacyjnych Polsport, will be situated on 1000-lecia PP Street and will hold the main arena sized 44 x 24 m and seats for
150 spectators. Completion of the contract will take
24 months. ■

INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS

GDDKiA seeks contractor for A1 motorway. Łódź Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has issued a tender for the construction of the Stryków junction, along with 5 km long section of A1 motorway running in the direction of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship. Applications concerning admission to tender, along with a deposit of 3 million PLN, will be collected until 29th June. Realization of the investment is to be finalized by 30th November 2011. ■

Dragados signs contract for construction of section of A1 motorway Piekary-Maciejów for 1.26 billion PLN. This week, Spanish company Dragados signed a contract worth nearly 1.26 billion PLN with Katowice division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) concerning the construction of an over 20 km long section of the A1 motorway, connecting Piekary Śląskie and Zabrze-Maciejów. Other participants of the tender were J&P-Avax, Mota-Engil and the consortia whose leaders were Strabag, Eurovia, Budimex Dromex and Astaldi. The investment is to be completed by the end of 2011. ■

J&P Avax wants to modernize, for approx. 870 million PLN, Armii Krajowej Route in Warsaw. Greek company J&P Avax has made the lowest offer, with the price of less than 869 million PLN gross, in a tender for general contracting of the Armii Krajowej Route, between Prymasa Tysiąclecia Av. in Warsaw and Piłsudskiego St. in Marki. The investment's budget has been set at over 1.57 billion PLN. The modernization aims at adapting the road to the parameters of the S-8 expressway. ■

Consortium with Arcadis will prepare for 4.3 mln PLN feasibility study for western ring road for Szczecin.
The consortium of companies Arcadis, Pont-Projekt and Pracownia Projektowa Dróg i Mostów DIM has won
a tender for the development of a feasibility study for the Western Ring Road for Szczecin (Zachodnie Drogowe Obejście Miasta Szczecina). The value of the contract, ordered by the Marshal's Office of the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship, will amount to
4.3 million PLN gross. Completion of the contract is to take 14 months. The investment, the cost of which is estimated at 350 million PLN, will comprise the construction of 51.5 km of road, along with a bridge over River Odra. ■

Eurovia will carry out works on road infrastructure in Bytom worth 106 million PLN. City Roads and Bridges Management in Bytom has hired the consortium of Eurovia, A-Propol and Himmel and Papesch to prepare a design and carry out, for 79 million PLN, the 2nd stage of the Northern Ring Road for Bytom (2.2 km of the road between Nowocelna St. and Jana Nowaka-Jeziorańskiego Av.).

Eurovia will also modernize, for over 24 million PLN,
a 2 km long section of Łagiewnicka and Świętochłowicka streets, along with accompanying infrastructure. The works are to be finalized within a period of 10 months. ■

DIM will prepare, for 2.13 million PLN, design of Szczecin Downtown Ring Road. The authorities of Szczecin have hired the consortium of Pracownia Projektowa Macieja Kasprzyka and Pracownia Projektowa Dróg i Mostów “DIM” from Gdańsk to prepare a concept and documentation for the 4th stage of the Szczecin Downtown Ring Road. The investment will be carried out between Niemierzyńska and Wojska Polskiego streets, along with the modernization of the “Łękno” junction. Completion of the contract is to take 26 months.

Other candidates for the contract were Biprogeo Projekt, Scott Wilson, Pracownia Projektowa “Most”, Sener, Biuro Projektów Budownictwa Komunalnego S.A. and the consortium of Apia XXI and Redan. ■

ZDW seeks contractor for Dobczyce ring road. Until 22nd July, Voivodship Roads Management (ZDW) in Krakow will be collecting offers with a deposit of 500,000 PLN concerning the construction of a ring road for Dobczyce. The investment comprises the construction of 1.2 km of class G road, a bridge over River Raba (178 m) and a roundabout at the intersection of voivodship roads No. 964 and 967. Completion of the contract, the value of which is estimated at 58 million PLN, is to take
26 months. ■

CSPWiK seeks contractor for modernization of Klimzowiec sewage treatment plant in Chorzów. Until 10th July, Chorzowsko-Świętochłowickie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji (CSPWiK) will be collecting offers, along with a deposit of 1 million PLN, regarding modernization of the Klimzowiec sewage treatment plant, situated on the border of Chorzów and Katowice. Documentation of the investment, which is to be finalized by 15th November of next year, has been prepared by the consortium of Wrocław based Biuro Projektów Budownictwa Komunalnego, Elektrotim and Grontmij Polska. ■

DEVELOPERS AND CONTRACTORS

Consortium of Mostostal Zabrze will carry out for 127 mln PLN construction works in Szczecin Power Plant. Consortium of Mostostal Zabrze with the Finnish BMH Technology Oy and GPBP from Gliwice has been chosen by PGE “Dolna Odra” Complex of Power Plants as the general contractor of a biomass fuel power boiler at the Szczecin Power Plant. The contract, worth slightly over 127 mln PLN gross, will be completed by the end of October 2011. ■

Erbud has signed contract for development of teaching outlet in Poznań for 27 mln PLN. Erbud has informed of signing on June 17 a contract worth 27 mln PLN for the development of WSNHiD (High School of Journalism and Humanities) on Gen. Tadeusza Kutrzeby Street in Poznań. We have informed in PREM that the company submitted the lowest bid, but that the school's authorities announced that the investment would be carried out by Skanska. However, after Erbud's protest and another analysis it has been decided that Erbud would be entrusted with the contract. Works on the outlet, which will have an area of approx. 11,000 sqm, will take until October of next year. ■

VARIOUS NEWS

PKP will spend 2.4 mln PLN on modernization design of Warszawa-Wschodnia Train Station. PKP is accepting offers with a tender deposit of 72,000 PLN for preparing the modernization design of the Warszawa Wschodnia (Warsaw East) Train Station. Works on the outlet, with an area of 13,700 sqm and a cubature of 100,000 meters3, are planned to be completed on March 30, 2012. The estimated value of the order is approx. 2.4 mln PLN. ■

ZIKiT is seeking designer and contractor of bus terminal in Krakow. The Krakow Infrastructure Management is accepting bids with a tender deposit of 135,000 PLN for the design and general contracting of
a bus terminal in the area of the flyover on Wielicka and Powstańców Wielkopolskich streets until June 24. The works, worth an estimated 27 mln PLN, should be completed on June 30, 2011. ■
