RETAIL OUTLETS

Karmar has signed contract for construction of shopping center with area of over 25,000 sqm in Zgorzelec. In the past few days Karmar has signed a contract with Plaza Centers for the construction of a shopping center in Zgorzelec (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The enterprise, located
in the area of Armii Krajowej, Krańcowa and Składowa streets, will consist of the construction of a gallery
with approx. 100 stores and a total area of over
25,000 sqm. Works on the investment, designed
by the Pentagram Architekci workshop, will be completed in the first quarter of 2010.

In the past few weeks Plaza Centers has entrusted
a consortium created by Unibep and Mostostal Warszawa with the realization of a contract worth 140 mln PLN
for the construction of a shopping center in Suwałki.
The Israeli developer is also getting ready for investments in Kielce and Leszno. ■

Erbud is negotiating contract for construction of Tesco hypermarket with area of 12,000 sqm in Przemyśl. According to PREM's unofficial findings, Erbud
is conducting advanced negotiations concerning a contract for the general contracting of a Tesco hypermarket
in Przemyśl (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The enterprise
on Lwowska Street will consist of an outlet with an area
of 12,000 sqm. The choice of the contractor is being supervised by SIC Mirosław Kuta.

In the past few weeks Erbud has been one of the most active companies on the construction market in Poland. The company has signed contracts for the construction
of retail outlets in Bytom, Piotrków Trybunalski
and Kalisz. It is also finalizing contracts
for the construction of the ZUS office building in Szczecin and a medical center in Gdańsk. ■

Selgros is planning construction of shopping center
with area of 10,000 sqm in Swadzim.
Comments
to the application submitted in the Commune Council
of Tarnowo Podgórne by the Selgros chain, which is trying to obtain adminisstrative permits for the construction
of a wholesale center, can be submitted until April 14.
The outlet, with a sales area of almost 10,000 sqm
with warehouse facilities, will be located in Swadzim near Poznań.

Selgros' strategic partners for the realization
of construction investments in Poland are: Studio ADS (design) and Budimex Dromex (general contracting). ■

Cerprojekt is preparing construction of shopping center
with area of 9,000 sqm for Tesco in Starogard Gdański.
Tesco is conducting administrative preparations connected with plans for the construction of a shopping-service center in the area of Zblewska, Kociewska and Bohaterów Getta streets in Gdańsk (Pomorskie Voivodship). The process
of obtaining permits for the enterprise is being supervised by Jarosław Trambacz from the Ceprojekt workshop
from Poznań. The investment will include the development of a 3.6-hectare lot and the construction of a complex
with an area of approx. 9,000 sqm, consisting of a Tesco hypermarket and a shopping-service gallery.
The investment will be completed with a parking lot
for 300 vehicles. ■

Unibep has submitted lowest offer for construction
of shoppin
g center with area of 40,000 sqm in Warsaw. Representatives of Unibep have informed that they are taking part in a tender procedure for the general contracting of the Outlet Factory-Annopol Center planned in Warsaw-Białołęka on Annopol Street. According to our unofficial findings, the offer submitted by the company from Bielsk Podlaski is the least expensive. The decision concerning the choice of the general contractor has been suspended
for several months. The investment, the developer of which is Neinver Polska, will be built on the basis of a design prepared by APA Wojciechowski. The complex will have
a total area of 40,000 sqm. The process of choosing
the general contractor is being supervised by EC Harris. ■

But-Pol is preparing construction of shopping-service center in Zielona Góra for 270 mln PLN. Zbigniew Kuczma, owner of the But-Pol Company, is preparing
the development of an area of over 6 hectares
on Sienkiewicza Street in Zielona Góra (Lubuskie Voivodship). The entrepreneur is in possession
of a property of the Zefam Zielona Góra Furniture Factory. The investor is planning to develop approx. 1.5 hectares
of land for a shopping pavillion, a fuel station and a fast-food type restaurant in the first stage of the investment. Subsequent stages will consist of the development
of approx. 3 hectares, where a shopping-service center
with a hypermarket and a shopping gallery will be built. ■

Medusa Group has won contest for concept of multi-functional GC Investment complex in Bytom. Armada Development, a dependent company of GC Investment,
has chosen the concept submitted by Medusa Group
in a contest for a reconstruction concept of “Szyb Krystyna” (“Krystyna Shaft”) in Bytom (Śląskie Voivodship) and the development of surrounding areas.
Let us recall that Konior Studio and JK Architekci
also took part in the contest.

The enterprise will consist of adapting the building
of the shaft, 57 meters high and with a cubature
of 26,500 meters3, for cultural-service functions
with a hotel with 50 rooms, a mini-conference centers
and a multi-functional sports complex. The neighboring lot will be used for a shopping-service gallery with a net area of approx. 30,000 sqm (according to preliminary estimates) and an office complex. ■

CDI will rebuild DH Jantar in Kalisz with area
of approx. 4,000 sqm.
Centrum Development
& Investments is preparing reconstruction of Jantar Department Store on Św. Józera Square in Kalisz (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). The investment will include the thorough modernization of an outlet with an area
of approx. 4,000 sqm and the creation of approx.
2,000 sqm of retail space and approx. 1,500 sqm of office and gastronomy space. The design of the enterprise was created by the Migasiewicz & Wierzbicki Architekci Workshop. The schedule assumes completing the works
in the fourth quarter of 2010. ■

Kons-Bud is preparing construction of Kaufland supermarket in Grajewo. The Kons-Bud consortium
from Suwałki is conducting preparations
for the construction of a retail outlet in Grajewo (Podlaskie Voivodship). Last year the company purchased a property with an area of almost 0.5 hectare, located on Kopernika Street. The corporation is currently conducting administrative preparations connected with the planned reconstruction of the traffic system. The outlet, with a retail area of approx. 2,000 sqm, will be put to use in the first quarter of next year. Kaufland is mentioned as a potential operator of the supermarket. ■

Elektrobudowa will sign contract for general contracting of Lidl hypermarket in Szczecin. Kornas,
a development company from Kołobrzeg, has entrusted
the Gdańsk branch of Elektrobudowa with the general contracting of a Lidl supermarket in Szczecin. The outlet, which will have an area of 1,300 sqm, will be put to use
in the third quarter of this year. ■

Falco will carry out construction works of shopping center in Bytom for 52 mln PLN. Falco, a company created by Andrzej Piasecki (who used to be connected to, for example, PIA Piasecki and Polnord) has acquired
an order worth over 52 mln PLN for the ferroconcrete constructions of the Agora shopping center in Bytom.
The general contractor of the complex, financed by Braaten + Pedersen Plus Partners, is Erbud. ■

PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OUTLETS

Redeco and Devco are preparing construction
of logistics center with area of 90,000 sqm in Wrocław.
Tadeusz Chrzanowski, general director of Devco Company, is supervising preparations for the construction of a logistics center on Rakietowa Street in Wrocław (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). Devco is a plenipotentiary
of the Redeco Company, which is managing the driver education course located on the property. According
to assumptions, the enterprise will include the construction of a complex of outlets with a total development area
of approx. 90,000 sqm.

Devco has experience in the realization of such investments; in Wrocław it manages, for example two office complexes - Wrocław Park Biznesu on Strzegomska Street and Wrocław Park Biznesu 2 on Wołowska Street. ■

Assmann is preparing design of logistics center
in Pniewy with area of 20,000 sqm.
Honda Logistics Center Central, a company registered in Poznań,
has entrusted the German Assmann Company
with a contract for preparing documentation
for the development of a 5.6 hectare lot in Pniewy (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). According to preliminary assumptions, the concern is planning the construction
of a complex with an area of 20,000 sqm. ■

Energoserwis will build production-office complex
with area of approx. 9,500 sqm in Lublin.

The Energoserwis Renovation and Power Appliance Assembly Corporation has announced a tender procedure for the design and construction of an administrative-social building (1,500 sqm) with a production hall (8,000 sqm)
in Lublin. Offers with a tender deposit of 200,000 PLN should be submitted by May 5. Works on the construction of the complex will take until the end of September of next year. ■

Jakon has commenced construction of Schueco office-warehouse complex in Siestrzeń. Schueco International Polska has entrusted Jakon with the general contracting
of a new seat in Poland. An approx. 5.5-hectare lot, located in Siestrzeń (Mazowieckie Voivodship), will be used
for the realization of the investment. The complex, designed by Maciej Kulesza, will consist of a warehouse hall with a usable area of approx. 3,800 sqm and a 2-story office building (800 sqm). ■

Offset Druk has purchased 1.1 hectares for construction of plant in Głogów Młp for 30.5 mln PLN. Several days ago Offset Druk from Rzeszów won a tender procedure organized by the EuroPark Mielec Special Economic Zone for the purchase of an undeveloped property with an area of 1.1 hectares in Głogów Małopolski (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The asking price for the lot, located in the park of science-technology, exceeded 0.7 mln PLN.

The investor has declared the construction of a printing complex for over 30.5 mln PLN and employment approx. 20 people. The company should complete the phase
in the first quarter of 2015. ■

Dax Cosmetics will develop production complex
in Wiązowna near Warsaw for 16 mln PLN.

The management of Dax Cosmetics, a producer
of cosmetics, has approved plans for the development
of the factory in Wiązowna near Warsaw. The area
of the plant will be increased by 3,000 sqm,
from the current 4,000 sqm to 7,000 sqm.
The documentation of the investment will be prepared
this year and it is possible that construction works will begin by the end of the year. They are planned to be completed in the third quarter of next year. ■

CLP is seeking contractor of warehouse hall with area of 4,000 sqm. Offers for the general contracting
of a warehouse hall with an area of 4,000 sqm
on Przepiórcza Street in Piła (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) are being accepted until April 14. The design of the outlet was prepared by the Archi-Graf workshop from Piła,
which is also the supervisor of the investment.
The construction is planned to be completed on August 15 of this year. ■

Fortum is interested in construction of nuclear power plant in Pomorskie Voivodship. Last week representatives of the Finnish power concern Fortum conducted talks with representatives of self-government authorities of the Pomorskie Voivodship concerning
the construction of a nuclear power plant. The investor wants to carry out the enterprise alone or through public-private partnership. The company has also declared willingness to build a modern waste-burning plant.
The details of the investment and the possible principles
of cooperation will be revealed during further meetings. ■

Design Construction has prepared construction of hall in Świecie for System SJ. The Design Construction workshop from Grudziądz has prepared the construction
of a production hall for System SJ in Dworzysko
in the commune of Świecie (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). The enterprise will be located in the Vistula Park investment area and will include the construction
of a hall producing steel constructions with an area
of 2,000 sqm and a two-story office outlet. ■

Aquer will build production complex with area
of 3,000 sqm in Bochnia.
The Aquer Company has applied to the City Council of Bochnia (Małopolskie Voivodship) for administrative permits connected with plans
for the construction of a production complex on Gazowa Street. The investment will consist of the construction
of a hall with an area of 2,500 sqm and an office building (500 sqm). Aquer is a producer of sanitary installations. ■

Erplast will develop production complex in Bydgoszcz. The Erplast Company is going through the process
of acquiring administrative permits connected with plans for the development of the production complex
on Witebska Street in Bydgoszcz. Preparations
for the investment are being supervised by the owner
of the company, Krzysztof Rymer. Erplast deals
with the production of road safety elements. ■

OFFICE BUILDINGS

PKO Inwestycje has signed letter of intent with Polish Post for construction of office building in Warsaw.
It was announced last week that PKO Inwestycje
has signed a letter of intent concerning cooperation
on the development of a 1.1-hectare lot on Chmielna Street in Warsaw. We have written in PREM that the construction of an office building with an area of 27,000 sqm on the lot will be based on a concept prepared by the EM Jednacz Company. ■

Virako is planning construction of office buildings
with area of 25,000 sqm in Łódź.
The Virako Company (former Faktoria) is preparing the construction of office complexes on Piotrkowska Street in Łódź. The company
is in possession of two lots with a total area of approx.
2 hectares, where it will build a B+ class business park with a usable area of 25,000 sqm. This year the company
is planning to obtain a conditions of development (WZiZT) decision and to prepare the documentation, while construction works are supposed to begin next year. Virako is also planning subsequent office investments in Katowice and in the Tri-City area (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot).
The details of these investments have not been revealed yet.

Regarding general contracting Virako is cooperating
on the realization of the first office investment in Łódź with Condite, a construction company from Kolporter's capital group. ■

EPA to build office building with area of approx.
10,000 sqm in Szczecin according to design by Dedeco.
The Dedeco workshop has won the contest, organized
by the EPA Company, for the design of an office building on Duńska Street in Szczecin. Both parties signed
a contract for the documentation last week.

The concept assumes the construction of an outlet consisting of two bodies with a total usable area of approx. 9,500 sqm, including almost 5,000 sqm net to be used
for offices and the remaining part for, among other functions, conference rooms, warehouse space and a garage for 166 vehicles. The design along with permits will be ready this year and construction works are planned to begin in the spring of next year. ■

ARG is preparing construction of office complex
in Krakow for Saxel Developments.
Andrzej Garpiel from the ARG workshop is supervising preparations
for the construction of an office complex of the Irish company Saxel Developments in Krakow. The enterprise will be located in the area of Powstania Listopadowego Street and will include the construction of three office outlets. Saxel will also reconstruct the traffic system
on a 400-meter long section and will prepare the lot
for development. ■

Portico Project Management is preparing design
of office building with area of 6,500 sqm for Juwentus.
Portico Project Management, acting on behalf of Grupa Juwentus, has commenced the procedure of choosing
the general contractor of an office building with an area
of over 6,500 sqm. The four-story outlet with a cubature
of over 15,000 meters3 will be built on Polonezów Street
in Warsaw. The design of the building was prepared
in the Atelier 2 Architekci workshop. ■

GM Architekci has prepared concept of court center with area of 9,000 sqm in Gdańsk. GM Architekci
from Bydgoszcz has prepared the preliminary assumptions for the Justice Center complex on 3 Maja Street in Gdańsk. The investment will include the construction of an outlet with an area of approx. 9,000 sqm, which will house
the seats of the Appellate Prosecution, the Regional
and District Prosecution of Gdańsk-Śródmieście
and an underground parking lot for 270 vehicles.
The Ministry of Justice is planning to commence
the construction in 2011 and to complete it within two years. A tender procedure for the project should be announced this year. ■

Arkop will construct congress-restaurant building
for 58.8 mln PLN in Wrocław.
The Arkop Company has won a tender procedure for the construction of the Regional Center for Business Tourism in Wrocław. The gross value of the contract, ordered by the Hala Ludowa Corporation, is 58.8 mln PLN. Eiffage Budownictwo, Mitex,
a consortium of Mostostal Zabrze and Przemysłówka Gliwice, Karmar and Pol-Aqua also tried to acquire
the contract.

The enterprise, located on the premises of Hala Stulecia, will consist of the reconstruction of the outlet called Pawilon Restauracyjny (Restaurant Pavillion) into
a conference-restaurant center with an area of 5,000 sqm. Works on the investment, designed by Architects & Co, will take until the end of March of next year. ■

Skanska will build teaching outlet for 28.6 mln PLN
in Poznań.
Skanska has won a tender procedure
for the general contracting of the development of WSNHiD (School of Humanities and Journalism) on Gen. Tadeusza Kutrzeby Street in Poznań. The contract, worth
28.6 mln PLN gross, will consist of the construction
of an outlet with a total area of approx. 11,000 sqm and
a cubature of over 43,000 sqm. The investment will be completed within 15 months. ■

PARR is seeking designer of Słupsk Incubator
of Technology with area of approx. 6,500 sqm.
PARR (Pomorze Agency for Regional Development) is accepting offers for preparing the documentation of the Słupsk Incubator of Technology until April 15. The functional program of the 2-story building with an area of approx. 6,500 sqm and a cubature of approx. 25,000 meters3, located on Portowa Street was prepared by the Flis Design Workshop. ■

American School is planning development by over
6,000 sqm of teaching complex in Konstancin Jeziorna.
The deadline for submitting applications for taking part
in a tender procedure for the development of the American School in Konstancin-Jeziorna near Warsaw passes on May 4. Plans include the construction of a building with a total area of over 6,000 sqm on the basis of documentation prepared by the AA Anatol and Anna Kuczyński Architectural Workshop. The tender procedure is being supervised by PM Group.

We have informed in PREM that another international school would carry out an investment in Warsaw.
A complex with an area of 4,400 sqm will be built
on Zdrowa Street in the district of Wilanów
for the W. Brandt German School. ■

Locum will design teaching-sports complex with area
of 5,500 sqm in Jastarnia for Locum.
The authorities
of Jastarnia (Pomorskie Voivodship) have chosen the offer of Locum from Kalisz in a tender procedure for designing the teaching-sports complex on Stelmaszczyka Street.
The functional concept of the outlet, which will have
an area of 5,500 sqm, was prepared by the “Profil” project studio from Słupsk. Design works will be completed
by June 22, 2009. Instalkomfort, Marbud Inwest, Teccom, Archimedia and SP Profil are also taking part
in the procedure. ■

District Starosty in Tomaszów Maz. is seeking contractor of office building with area of 5,200 sqm. Offers with a tender deposit of 420,000 PLN
for the construction of the seat of the District Starosty
in Tomaszów Mazowiecki (Łódzkie Voivodship) can be submitted until April 28. Documentation of the office building, with an area of 5,200 sqm and a cubature
of 25,000 meters3 and located on Szkolna Street,
was prepared by the KUBI Company from Tomaszów.
The works are planned to be completed in October 2011. ■

Karmar has submitted lowest offer in tender
for construction of teaching outlet in Wieliszew.
Five companies have submitted bids in a tender procedure
for the construction of a middle school in Wieliszew (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The lowest one, 10.2 mln PLN gross, was submitted by Karmar. Other entities taking part in the procedure are: Mostostal Warszawa (10.7 mln PLN), Vectra (10.8 mln PLN), Dorbud (11.4 mln PLN)
and Warbud (12.9 mln PLN). The enterprise will include the construction of an outlet with an area of 4,000 sqm
on Kościelna Street. The design of the investment
was prepared by Bożena and Henryk Kosieradzkis' K2 Architectural Workshop. ■

UTEX is preparing design for reconstruction
of Occupational Medicine Institute in Sosnowiec.
Occupational Medicine and Environmental Health Institute in Sosnowiec has entrusted the Utex Company
with preparing the reconstruction design of its seat
on Kościelna Street. Plans include the modernization
of outlets with a total area of 8,000 sqm and a cubature
of 27,000 meters3. The order should be completed
by the end of July of this year. Architekt Studio ILP Business Consulting, Projprzem and Termoprojekt
also tried to acquire the contract. ■

Committee for Construction of St. Theresa's School is seeking contractor of teaching outlet with area of 3,400 sqm. The Committee for the Construction of St. Theresa's School is preparing the construction of a teaching outlet with a gymnasium in Podkowa Leśna (Mazowieckie Voivodship) on Modrzewiowa Street. The first stage
of the investment (the construction of the gymnasium)
is planned for July 2009. The design of the outlet,
with an area of 3,400 sqm, was prepared by Grupa 5 Architekci from Warsaw. ■

Authorities of Gniezno are seeking designer for adaptation
of former army barracks with
area of 5,000 sqm. Bids
with a tender deposit of 8,000 PLN for preparing
an architectural concept for the adaptation of former army barracks on Sobieskiego Street in Gniezno (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) for the purposes of a teaching outlet are being accepted until April 16. Three high schools, a library,
an archive and the District Employment Agency will be located in the modernized buildings with an area
of 5,000 sqm. Documentation should be ready
within 4 months. ■

First Tax Office is seeking designer of office complex
in Częstochowa with area of approx. 4,500 sqm.

The First Tax Office of Częstochowa has announced
a tender procedure for the modernization design
and adaptation of two outlets with a total usable area
of 3,000 sqm and a cubature of 13,500 meters3
at 18/20 Filomatów Street and their development
by approx. 1,500 sqm. Bids with a tender deposit
of 30,000 PLN are being accepted until May 14. Documentation should be prepared by November 16. ■

BeMM, Kulczyński, KIPP are among entities shortlisted in contest for modernization design of KNF office building. Fourteen architectural workshops have been accepted into the second stage of the contest for the modernization concept and addition of superstructure to an office building of the Financial Supervision Commission (KNF) on Jasna Street in Warsaw. The following workshops will take part in the procedure: Ferdzynowie Workshop, BeMM Architekci, Instalkomfort, MB Workshop, Portal PP
from Szczecin, Portal Workshop from Warsaw, KIPP Projekt, Marcin Jeziorski, AGK, Bulanda&Mucha, BNS, Open, Makro-Budomat and Bogdan Kulczyński.

The enterprise will pertain to an outlet with a cubature of 16,000 meters3, located on a lot with an area of 800 sqm, which the KNF purchased in November of last year
for 30 mln PLN.

Ekobud will design teaching outlet in Warsaw-Wesoła with area of 6,000 sqm. The Ekobud architectural workshop has submitted the lowest bid, with a price
of 134,000 PLN net for preparing the construction-contracting documentation of an elementary school
with a usable area of 6,000 sqm, planned on Cieplarniania Street in the district of Wesoła. Forty-one workshops took part in the tender procedure. The order should
be completed within 8 months.

Novum will build preschool in Pruszków for 11.6 mln PLN. The authorities of Pruszków near Warsaw will entrust
the Novum Company with a contract worth 11.6 mln PLN gross for the construction of a preschool on Antka Street
in the Bolesława Prusa housing district. The design
of the outlet, with an area of 4,200 sqm and a cubature
of 15,000 meters3, was prepared by Paweł Frankiewicz's Archidom workshop and Portico is the substitute investor. The order should be completed by the end of July
of next year.

Krakow University of Technology is seeking contractor for modernization of building with area of 2,800 sqm. The deadline for submitting offers with a tender deposit
of 200,000 PLN for the reconstruction of a teaching outlet on Skarżyńskiego Street in Krakow passes on April 24. Design documentation of the enterprise, with an area
of 2,800 sqm and a cubature of 15,000 meters3, which will be used for the International Center of Urban Planning Studies, was prepared by Autorska Pracownia
Architektury '91.

University of Opole is seeking contractor for reconstruction of teaching building with area of 4,000 sqm. Offers
with a tender deposit of 120,000 PLN
for the reconstruction of the Faculty of Chemistry
on Oleska Street in Opole are being accepted until May 11. The scope of the works includes, for example,
the modernization of an outlet with an area of 3,800 sqm and the construction of a connector with an area of approx. 220 sqm. Documentation of the enterprise was prepared
for the University of Opole by Henryk Witowski's workshop. Works on the investment will be completed within 18 months.

Authorities of Toruń are seeking designer
of Internatinal Youth Meeting Center.
The deadline
for submitting offers for the concept of the spatial-functional adaptation of a historic fort in Toruń
for the purposes of the International Youth Meeting Center. The enterprise is located between Wola Zamkowa, Św. Jakuba and Bulwar Filadelfijski streets. The order should be prepared by July of this year. The total cost
of the investment cannot exceed 24 mln PLN.

Leszno authorities seek contractor for middle school building with area of 2,300 sqm. 24th April is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 150,000 PLN, concerning the construction of a middle school
on Szczepanowskiego Street in Leszno (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). The design of the building with an area
of 2,300 sqm has been prepared by Wrocław based office TEK-Projekt. Works on the investment are to be finalized next year in August. ■

Modernization and extension of teaching complex
is planned in Szczytno.
24th April is the deadline
for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 200,000 PLN, in a tender for modernization and extension of Schools Complex No. 2 on Polska Street in Szczytno (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). The plans anticipate
the construction of a teaching building with an area
of 1,000 sqm and cubature of 4,700 meters3 and modernization of the existing buildings (2,200 sqm).
The investment, the documentation of which has been prepared by Olsztyn based office BPBW, is to be finalized in August 2010. ■

Miastoprojekt-Bydgoszcz will receive 137,000 PLN
for designing office building for Stołeczna Estrada.
Warsaw based concert agency “Stołeczna Estrada”
has hired Miastoprojekt Bydgoszcz to prepare architectural documentation for a warehouse-office building
with an area of 2,200 sqm. The design of the building, planned on Jeziorki St. in Warsaw, is to be ready
within a period of 3 months. ■

Inwestprojekt will prepare, for 196,000 PLN, design

Predom will design laboratory buildings with cubature of 7,800 meters3 in Wrocław. Wrocław based Voivodship Veterinary Inspectorate (WIW) has ordered a contract worth 190,000 PLN gross to Predom concerning
the development of a design for the adaptation of a clinic-office building at 48 Januszowicka Street, for the purposes of the Zakład Higieny Weterynaryjnej laboratories.
The investment will comprise the construction of buildings with an area of 1,600 sqm and cubature of 7,800 meters3. Development of documentation will take 4 months. ■

HOUSING INVESTMENTS

Riera Marsá Group is planning construction of complex with 860 flats in Warsaw-Bielany. Spanish company Riera Marsá Group is preparing another housing project
in Poland. The investor is planning to build a residential complex with 860 flats in the Bielany district of Warsaw. The architectural concept of the investment has been prepared by the FS&P Arcus office. Riera Marsá Group
is represented in Poland by the Wardyński I Wspólnicy legal office. The date of beginning the construction works is not known at this time. ■

Fazbud will build complex with 400 flats in Kiełczów. The company Fazbud is beginning, as investor and general contractor, the construction of the “Skowronkowe Wzgórze” residential complex on Skowronkowa St.
in Kiełczów (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The 1st stage, which is to be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2010,
will comprise the construction of two 3-story buildings with 69 flats with usable areas from 25 sqm to 126 sqm. The complex will be carried out in four stages, comprising, in total, 7 buildings with 403 flats. The design
of the investment has been prepared by Wrocław based architectural office Dziewoński Łukaszewicz Architekci. ■

On behalf of Teem Development, Europtima seeks contractor for apartment complex with area of 11,400 sqm. Europtima, operating on behalf of Łódź based company Teem Development, is seeking a contractor
for the “Helenów Park” apartment complex at the junction of Smugowa and Żródłowa streets in Łódź. The plans anticipate the construction of a complex with 168 flats, with a usable area of 11,400 sqm and a cubature of over 51,000 meters3. The design of the complex has been prepared by the Izzba office. Earthworks for the investment have been carried out by Płock based company Vectra. ■

3D-architekci preparing construction of residential complex with cubature of 300,000 meters3 in Krakow. 3D-architekci office is supervising administrative proceedings concerning plans for the construction
of a residential complex in the area of Kozia and Bagrowa streets in Krakow. The investment will comprise
the construction of a complex of buildings with a building development area of 17,000 sqm and cubature
of 300,000 meters3. The complex will also have over
780 parking spaces. ■

Ulmi is preparing construction of residential-hotel-office complex in Krakow. The company Ulmi has begun administrative preparations concerning the development
of a land plot situated in the area of Siemaszki and Prądnicka streets in Krakow. According to preliminary assumptions, the investment will comprise the construction of a residential complex with 2,500 parking spaces.
The complex will also have hotel- and office buildings. Currently, the company is applying for the evaluation
of the investment's influence on the environment. ■

Instal Białystok is preparing construction of complex
of 13 multi-family buildings in Białystok.
Instal Białystok has begun the procedures concerning
the obtaining of administrative permits for the construction of a residential complex in the area of Magazynowa, Transportowa and Składowa streets in Białystok.
The investment will comprise the construction of thirteen buildings with 6-9 stories (two 9-story buildings, seven
6-story buildings and 4 “cascade” buildings). The complex will also have 1,100 parking spaces. ■

JHM awaits permission for construction of hotel-apartment building with approx. 100 flats in Hel, designed by A&P.
JHM Development awaits permission for the construction of a hotel-apartment building on Steyera Street in Hel (Pomorskie Voivodship). According to the design, prepared by Wiesława Martyńska-Ostrowska's Gdynia based office A&P, the investment will comprise
the construction of a 5-story building with 99 flats
and several apartments for lease. The general contractor
of the investment, which is to begin in the 2nd half
of this year, is going to be the company Mirbud, associated with the developer.

The two companies have recently begun
the construction of a residential complex on Katowicka Street in Rawa Mazowiecka (Łódzkie Voivodship). Seventy nine detached and semi-detached single-family houses will be built there by the 4th quarter of next year. ■

Arkada preparing design of complex with approx.
200 flats in Biała Podlaska for ZRM Romaniuk.
Arkada architectural office is preparing the design of a residential complex for Zakład Remontowo-Budowlany Stanisław Romaniuk. The complex will be situated in the area
of Podmiejska Street in Biała Podlaska (Lubelskie Voivodship) and will comprise the construction of four multi-family residential buildings with 196 flats in total. ■

Orion negotiating contract with Chemobudowa concerning contracting of apartment-office complex in Krakow. According to our sources, Chemobudowa is on the short list of companies who are finalizing negotiations concerning the contracting of the Orion Investment apartment-office building at 15 Przemysłowa Street
in Krakow. The investor is also considering offers
from other companies. The design of the investment has been prepared by Anna Podleś from architectural office Artech. It anticipates the construction, at a cost of approx. 30 million PLN, of a building with a total area of approx. 7,000 sqm, including 85 flats and an office-service section with area of approx. 1,200 sqm. Orion is waiting
for the construction permit to become valid; they are planning to begin the works this August. ■

Elbląg based TBS seeks architect for complex
with 150 flats.
16th April is the deadline for submitting offers in a tender for the design of a complex of four residential buildings with 150 flats in Elbląg (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). The developer of the investment, which is to be situated in the Modrzewina Północ district, is Elbląskie Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego (Elbląg based Social Building Association). ■

Wolski & Partners prepares design of apartment building with area of approx. 3,000 sqm in Gdynia for CF Plus. Wolski & Partners architectural office has prepared, for CF Plus Polska, a design of an apartment building
at Kaszubski Square in Gdynia. The investment
will comprise the construction of a building with a total area of approx. 3,000 sqm, with 28 raised-standards flats and shopping-service premises. The investment has already got WZiZT (building development conditions),
and the application for a construction permit is currently being considered. The works should begin this year
and end in the 4th quarter of 2010. ■

Atom will erect building with 65 flats in Siechnice according to design by Perspectiv. Wrocław based company Arom has begun preparations for the construction of the Nowa Kamienica residential building
on Gimnazjalna Street in Siechnice (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The investment, designed by the Perspectiv office, will comprise the construction of a building
with 65 flats and a total area of approx. 3,300 sqm.
The works should be finalized at the end of the 1st quarter of 2010. ■

Polsystem is preparing construction of residential complex with 52 flats in Siechnice. Polsystem is planning the construction of two 4-story residential buildings
in Siechnice near Wrocław. The complex is going to have 52 flats with areas from 33 to 93 sqm. The works should begin this May and end in the 3rd quarter of 2010. Documentation of the investment has been prepared by Janusz Grochowski from Wrocław based office Archwig. ■

Wikana is planning construction of residential complex in Łańcut. The company Wikana is preparing
the construction of Osiedle Cetnarskie residential complex in the vicinity of Staw Browarny Lake in Łańcut (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The complex is to be carried out in several stages; in the first stage, a building
with 33 flats with usable areas from 33 to 67 sqm,
with additional service premises (400 sqm) will be erected by the 2nd half of 2010. Documentation of this part
of the investment has been prepared by Tomasz Moskal's Rzeszów based office. Details of other buildings are not known yet. ■

Kombud acquires contract worth over 10 million PLN net
for construction of housing investment in Ruda Śląska.

The authorities of Ruda Śląska have recently announced that a contract had been signed with Kombud concerning the general contracting of a residential complex on Szczęść Boże Street. According to the contract, buildings
with an area of 3,000 sqm will be erected on the basis
of a design by Katowice based office Pallado i Skupin. ■

Budmat will build residential-service complex with cubature of 14,000 meters3 in Krasnystaw for 6 million PLN. Krasnystaw (Lubelskie Voivodship) based Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego (Social Building Association) has ordered a contract worth 6 million PLN gross
to the company Budmat concerning the construction
of a residential-service complex on Okrzei Street.
The investment will comprise the construction of a three-segment building with a usable area of 2,700 sqm
and cubature of 14,000 meters3, with 28 flats (1,400 sqm) and shopping-service premises. The construction works will take 19 months. ■

Consortium with Alpine Bau makes offer worth
1.252 billion PLN for construction of stadium in Warsaw

On 9th April, offers were opened in a tender for the general contracting of “National Stadium” in Warsaw. The lowest offer for therealization of the investment - with a price
of 1.252 billion PLN net - has been made
by the consortium

established by Alpine Bau, Hydrobudowa Polska
and PBG. Other candidates for the contract are
the consortia of Max Boegl Polska and Budimex Dromex (1.452 billion PLN); Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex, Strabag and Baugesellschaft Walter Hellmich (1.459 billion PLN); Pol Aqua, J&P Avax and Mostostal Warszawa
(1.29 billion PLN); John Sisk & Son and Henpol
(1.447 billion PLN). The most expensive offer -
with the price of over 2.2 billion PLN - has been made by a group of Portuguese companies represented by MSF-Polska, Soares da Costa, FDO Construcoes, Alexandre Barbosa Borges, ABB-FDO Polska and Martifer.
The stadium, which will hold 55,000 spectators, has been designed by JSK Architekci. Underneath the stands there will be a total of 130,000 sqm of space, which will be taken up e.g. by service and conference premises. Works
on the investment are to be finalized by May 2011. ■

Res-Gaj is preparing construction of 5-star hotel
with approx. 170 rooms in Straszęcin.
Jan Jurkiewicz's company Res-Gaj (formerly Alfa-Res), owner of e.g.
the “Jedynka” retail chain, is planning the construction
of a 5-star hotel in the area of Kazimierza Górskiego Football Preparations Center in Straszęcin (Podkarpackie Voivodship), of which they are co-owner. The construction works are to begin in the next few months and end in 2010 or 2011. The center, which will be created partly
by modernizing the existing building development, is going to have approx. 170 rooms. The investor's representatives did not reveal the name of the investment's architect. ■

VillaHoff in cooperation with FBA office is preparing construction of 4-star hotel with 100 rooms in Trzęsacz. Szczecin based office FBA, operating at the order
of Villahoff, is preparing a design of a hotel with beauty center and swimming pools on Rewalska Street in Trzęsacz (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). The investment
will comprise the construction of a 4-star hotel
with approx. 100 rooms. The recreation section
will include an aqua park, bowling alley, squash courts, tennis courts and conference halls. No information has so far been revealed regarding the date of beginning
the construction works on the investment. ■

Eltus will build hotel with area of over 3,000 sqm
in Niemcza according to design by Archidea.
Dzierżoniów based company Eltus hired Archidea architectural office to design the modernization
of the former hospital in Niemcza (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) for the purposes of a hotel with SPA facilities. The investment will comprise the construction, on the basis of the existing building development, of a three-star hotel with 70 rooms and a usable area of over 3,000 sqm.
The investment will also include the construction
of a roofed swimming pool with SPA complex
and a restaurant hall. The cost of the investment
is estimated at over 10 million PLN. ■

Ostrołęka authorities seek contractor for aqua park with area of over 6,600 sqm. 20th May is the deadline
for submitting offers, along with a deposit
of 0.6 million PLN, in a tender issued by the authorities
of Ostrołęka (Mazowieckie Voivodship), concerning
the construction of a sports-recreation complex on Witosa Street. The works are to be carried out by 30th September 2010. The design of the roofed swimming pool with a net area of over 6,600 sqm has been prepared by
the consortium of PA Kornatowski and BUP Instalkomfort. ■

Skanska, Strabag, Mostostal, Warbud and Budimex invited to tender for extension of medical center.
Św. Rodziny Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital
in Warsaw has invited the companies Skanska, Strabag, Mostostal Warszawa, Warbud and Budimex Dromex
to make contracting offers for the construction of a shell structure in the extension of the complex on Madalińskiego Street. A 7-story building with a cubature
of 70,000 meters3 will be constructed on the basis
of a design by Pramed. The cost of the investment
is estimated at over 30 million PLN. ■

KKM Kozień wins contest for concept of construction of Nowy Teatr in Warsaw, worth 60 million PLN. Krakow based architectural office KKM Kozień Architekci has won a contest for the development of a concept
for the seat of Nowy Teatr Krzysztofa Warlikowskiego theater in Warsaw, which will be constructed by extending and modernizing a historical hall on Madalińskiego Street, hitherto occupied by Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Oczyszczania (Municipal Waste Management Enterprise). The investment, the cost of which (without fixtures) is estimated at 60 million PLN, will include the construction of 2 rooms, including one with 450 seats, bookstore
and library. The construction works on the investment
will begin at the end of this year and end in 2011.

The second prize was awarded to the JEMS Architekci office, the third to the team: Dorota Borysiewicz, Andrzej Piłatowski and Andrzej Wyszyński, and the fourth
to the offices: Open Architekci, Tektura Michał Kozielewski, Marcos Parga Prado y Idoia Otegui Vicens and Architekten Kerschbaumer Pichler & Partner. ■

Architect Radosław Guzowski wants to design,
for 773,000 PLN, didactic-sports center in Łomża.
Radosław Guzowski's office was the only bidder
(with the price of 773,000 PLN gross) in a tender
for the development of a design for the Łomża Cultural Center on Zawadzkiej Street in Łomża (Pomorskie Voivodship). The complex, with a total area of 11,000 sqm, will be comprised of the education section and a sports-performance hall with seats for approx. 3,000 spectators. Documentation is to be ready within a period of one year. ■

Eko-Rem-Bud and Konsbud will build, for 12.9 million PLN, “Na Bursztynowym Szlaku” Art Gallery in Nowy Sącz.
The consortium of companies Eko-Rem-Bud and Konsbud has made the lowest offer, with a price of 12.9 million PLN gross concerning general contracting of “Na Bursztynowym Szlaku” Art Gallery in Nowy Sącz. Other participants of the tender were: Budmex
(13.1 million PLN), PBR Tadeusz Pióro
(13.6 million PLN), Instalbud-Rzeszów (14 million PLN), Rembud (14.3 million PLN), Flisbud (14.4 million PLN), Chemobudowa (14.7 million PLN), Erbet (15 million PLN) and Grimbud (15.1 million PLN). The investment is being supervised by Małopolskie Centrum Kultury “Sokół”.
The building, designed by the KKM Kozień Architekci office, is to be put into use in the 4th quarter of 2010. ■

Tuchola Hospital seeks contractor for modernization
of buildings with area of 6,500 sqm.
24th April
is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 200,000 PLN, concerning the extension
and modernization of buildings on Nowodworskiego Street in Tuchola (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship), which are
a part of the Tuchola Hospital. Design documentation
of the investment with a total area of 6,500 sqm and cubature of 20,000 meters3 has been prepared
by Włocławek based office WAW. The works are to be finalized by 31st December 2010. ■

Fasada will carry out 2nd stage of PAM medical complex with area of 16,500 sqm in Szczecin.
The company Fasada has been chosen by the Pomorze Medical Academy (PAM) for the contractor of the Center for Diagnostics and Treatment of Hereditary Cancer
in Szczecin. Realization of the 2nd stage will comprise finishing and installation works in a medical center
with an area of 16,500 sqm. Architectural documentation has been prepared, for 1.5 million PLN, by Pracownia Projektowa Atrium. Other participants of the tender were Status, Bautechnik Ineko, AGA Service, Erbud, consortium of ECAA Euro Consulting and Comparpol II,

NBP seeks architect for training center with area
of 2,500 sqm in Zalesie Górne.
4th May is the deadline
for submitting applications concerning admission to tender for the design of the Computer Training Center in Zalesie Górne (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The center, with an area of 2,500 sqm, will be built for the purposes of Narodowy Bank Polski (National Bank of Poland). Development

SZRM seeks contractor for modernization of Powszechny Theater in Warsaw for approx. 10 million PLN.
Until 18th May, Municipal City Development Management (SZRM) will be collecting offers with deposit of 580,000 PLN in a tender for the modernization and redevelopment of Powszechny Theater on Zamoyskiego Street in Warsaw. The works, the value of which is estimated at approx.
10 million PLN, are to take 8 months. The design
of the investment has been prepared by the company Arhead. ■

S-Bud will build, for nearly 10 million PLN, sports hall in Chojnice and office building in Tczew. Starogardzkie Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane S-Bud has won a tender
for general contracting of a sports hall at the Schools Complex No. 7 on Tuwima Street in Chojnice (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). For the construction of a building with area of 1,400 sqm and cubature of 11,400 meters3,
the company is going to receive 5 million PLN gross.
The investment, designed by Pracownia Budownictwa Inżynieryjnego Prokan, is to be finalized by 15th August 2010.

S-Bud has also acquired contract worth 4.8 million PLN gross concerning the modernization of district starost's office's building on Piaskowa Street in Tczew (Pomorskie Voivodship). Documentation of the building with an area of 3,500 sqm and cubature of 9,200 meters3 has been prepared by Słupsk based office Studio Projektowe “Profil”. Works on the realization of the investment
will take 11 months. ■

for roofed swimming pool with area of 3,000 sqm.

25th April is the deadline for submitting offers concerning the construction of a swimming pool on Pileckich Street
in Sokołów Małopolski (Podkarpackie Voivodship). Architectural documentation of the building with an area
of 3,000 sqm and cubature of 15,200 meters3 has been prepared by the Pro-Arch-2 office. The works should be finalized by 30th June 2011. ■

Bimat will prepare, for 465,000 PLN, design of sports complex in Szczecin. The authorities of Szczecin hired Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Projektowych Bimat to prepare documentation for Euroregional Center for Water and Sailing Education. The design of the center on Przestrzenna Street, comprised of buildings with a total area
of 5,900 sqm, is to be ready within a period of 4 months. ■

Pro Arch-2 will prepare design for roofed swimming pool in Żuromin. The authorities of Żuromin have announced that the company Pro Arch-2 has been ordered
a contract for the development of a design of a roofed swimming pool with an area of approx. 2,000 sqm,
for the purposes of the Schools Complex No. 2
on Wiatraczna Street in Żuromin (Mazowieckie Voivodship). Other candidates for the contract
were Ptaszyński-Rubin Architekci and Neoinvest. ■

Zabrze authorities will build three sports halls
for 8 million PLN.
The authorities of Zabrze have hired Śląskie Konsorcjum Ekologiczne as a contractor of two sports halls - at the Primary School No. 21 at 26 Bytomska Street, and at the School and Kindergarten Complex No. 6 at 74 Sikorskiego Street. The value of the contract
will amount to approx. 6 million PLN. The third hall,
at the Primary School No. 26 on Ogórka Street, will be built for approx. 2 million PLN by Wrocław based company Sport Halls. ■

INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS

GDDKiA seeks contractors for A1 motorway between Czerniewice and Kowal. Bydgoszcz Division
of the General Management of National Roads
and Motorways (GDDKiA) has issued two tenders
for the construction of A1 motorway between Czerniewice-Brzezie (deposit 10 million PLN) and Brzezie-Kowal (deposit 9 million PLN). The investment will comprise
the construction of 64 km of the road in total, along
with 4 junctions. Applications concerning admission
to tenders should be submitted by 12th May. Completion
of both contracts is to take 20 months. ■

GDDKiA issues two tenders for construction of A2 motorway between Stryków and Kontopa. Warsaw Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has issued 5 tenders concerning the construction of 91 km of A1 motorway between the towns Stryków and Kontopa (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The contracts concern the construction
of sections of the motorway with the lengths of 29 km (deposit 7.7 million PLN), 17 km (deposit
4.5 million PLN), 18 km (deposit 5 million PLN), 18 km (deposit 4.3 million PLN) and 7 km (deposit 2.97 million PLN). Offers in each of the tenders should be submitted
by 28th April, and the completion will take 32 months. ■

GDDKiA seeks contractors for S5 road between Gniezno and Kleszczewo. 30th April is the deadline
for submitting applications concerning admission
to tenders for the construction of the S5 road between Gniezno and Czachurki (deposit 7.3 million PLN),
and between Czachurki and Kleszczewo (deposit
7.7 million PLN). The investment, conducted
by the Poznań Division of the General Management
of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA), will comprise the construction of the total of 34 km
of expressway within a period of 22 months. ■

In May, GDDKiA will choose contractor for S69 road between Mikuszewice and Żywiec. Until 4th May, Katowice Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) will be collecting applications concerning admission to tender (deposit
10 million PLN) for the construction of expressway between Mikuszewice and Żywiec. The investment,
the completion of which will take 27 months, will comprise the construction of 15.3 km of the road. ■

GDDKiA issued tender for construction of ring road
for Zambrów and Wiśniewo.
Białystok Division
of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has issued a tender for the general contracting of a ring road for Zambrów and Wiśniewo (Podlaskie Voivodship). The investment will comprise
the extension of National Road No. 8 in the course of over 11 km, and National Road No. 63 in the course of 5 km. Applications concerning admission to tender with a deposit of 5 million PLN are to be submitted by 4th May. Completion of the investment, the total cost of which has been estimated at 0.5 billion PLN, will take 22 months. ■

GDDKiA seeks contractor for Jarosław ring road. Until 30th April, the Rzeszów Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways will be collecting applications concerning admission to tender (deposit 3 million PLN) for the extension of National Road No. 4. The contract will comprise the construction,
within a period of two years, of a 11 km long ring road
for Jarosław, between the towns Tywoń and Tuczempa. ■

ZMID seeks contractor for extension of Andersa St.
in Warsaw.
13th May is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 1.6 million PLN, concerning

PWiK seeks contractors for infrastructure works
for 76 million PLN in Mirzec commune.
Starachowice (Świętokrzyskie Voivodship) based Water Supply and Sewage Systems Enterprise (PWiK) has issued two tenders for the construction of the 2nd stage of construction
of sanitary sewage system in the Mirzec commune. Offers, along with deposits of 200,000 PLN and 300,000 PLN,
will be collected until 22nd May. The construction works, the total value of which is estimated at 76 million PLN gross, are to take 385 days. ■

Consortium of Strabag, Eurovia and PBDM
will modernize Szubin-Kcynia road for 36 million PLN.
The consortium of companies Strabag, Eurovia
and Kobylarnia based Przedsiębiorstwo Budowy Dróg
i Mostów has acquired a contract for the overhaul
of Voivodship Road No. 247 between Szubin and Kcynia (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). Works
on the investment worth 36 million PLN are to be finalized at the turn of this July and August. ■

Unibep will build residential housing complex in area
of Moscow for 52.5 mln PLN.
The management
of Unibep has recently informed of signing an agreement worth over 52.5 mln euro (approx. 240 mln PLN)
for the realization of a residential contract in Prostov
near Moscow. The order, which is to be completed
within 2 years, was placed by Witaland.

In the past few weeks Unibep obtained contracts
for the construction of the Plaza shopping center
in Suwałki, the Pekaes office building in Warsaw,
