RETAIL OUTLETS

Holdimex is preparing construction of shopping center with OBI market in Mysłowice. Holdimex
from Katowice has commenced administrative procedures connected with plans for the construction of a shopping-service center in Mysłowice (Śląskie Voivodship),
in the area of Katowicka and Obrzeźna Północna streets. One of the tenants of the complex will be OBI.

The company has already obtained permission
for the construction of a large area retail outlet with a sales area of approx. 48,000 sqm. In addition to the sale
of construction materials, the center will include outlets offering electronics, furniture, clothing, sports accessories and groceries. Let us recall that in 2007 Holdimex purchased the 4.9-hectare property for 8.7 mln PLN gross. ■

Conmax is preparing construction of shopping center with area of approx. 8,000 sqm in Września.
The Conmax Company from Wrocław is conducting preparations for the construction of a retail-service outlet with a usable area of approx. 8,000 sqm in Września (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). The company is currently negotiating the conditions of lease with three chain operators. Until the talks are finalized the company does not want to reveal the exact location. Works
on the enterprise should begin in August of this year and take until the first quarter of next year. A property
with an area of approx. 3 hectares will be used
for the investment. Declared employment will reach
100 people. ■

Mayland in cooperation with Broadway Malyan is preparing construction of shopping center in Warsaw. Two design companies: Broadway Malyan Polska Architekci i Projektanci and BA Hons RIBA Paul Ayre have prepared the concept for the modernization
and development of the “Fort Wola” shopping center
on Połczyńska Street in Warsaw. The investor
of the complex, which will operate under the “Eureka” name, is Mayland Real Estate.

After the modernization and development is completed, the lease area of the complex will reach 38,500 sqm,
while the underground garage will have spaces for almost 1,000 vehicles - 30,000 sqm. The estimated cost
and schedule of the works of the enterprise have not been revealed yet. ■

Code is preparing construction of shopping-service center with area of 12,500 sqm in Sosnowiec. Michał Biernacki's Code Architecture & Design workshop
is preparing the modernization concept of “Dom Handlowy Supermarket” on Teatralna Street in Sosnowiec (Śląskie Voivodship). According to our information, the outlet
with a total area of 12,500 sqm, will be thoroughly rebuilt. After the reconstruction it will consist of a grocery supermarket and a shopping passage. The building belongs to the Sosnowiec Agency for Local Development,
while the commercialization of the outlet will be carried out by Polmast, a consulting company known, for example, for its cooperation with the Media Markt chain. ■

IRES is preparing construction of Stop.Shop shopping centers. IRES Polska has been chosen by Immoeast
as the substitute investor for the development of a chain
of Stop.Shop shopping centers in Poland. The enterprise will include the construction of outlets in, for example, Gdynia, Koszalin, Biała Podlaska and Szczecinek.
The Austrian company is planning to open a total
of 24 outlets with area of approx. 5-10,000 sqm in our country.

The first such shopping center was put to use in Poland on Schumana Street in Legnica. The contractor
of the outlet, which will have a usable area of over
7,000 sqm, was Budus from Katowice. ■

Hill International is seeking general contractor of Tesco shopping center with area of approx. 3,000 sqm.
Hill International has begun, as project manager,
the procedure of choosing the general contractor of a Tesco shopping center, planned in Pruszcz Gdański (Pomorskie Voivodship) on Domejki Street. As we informed,
the usable area of the outlet, which will be built
on a 1.9-hectare lot, will reach approx. 2,900 sqm.
The design of the investment was prepared
by the Atelier.com workshop (architecture) and DCS (constructions and specialist project). ■

Akson preparing construction of market for Tal&Co
in Hrubieszów.
The Akson workshop from Wrocław
is preparing the construction of a retail-service project
for the Tal&Co Company in Hrubieszów (Lubelskie Voivodship). The investment assumes the construction
of a market with a retail area of approx. 2,000 sqm. Currently architect Wojciech Wilimowski is trying
to obtain permission for obtaining environmental permits for the enterprise. Tal&Co cooperates on the construction of outlets mostly with Kaufland. ■

Świtalski&Synowie is preparing construction of retail outlets in Bydgoszcz, Płock and Wolsztyn. Świtalski&Synowie is conducting advanced preparations for the construction of subsequent retail outlets which will operate under the “Mini Park” name. The centers will be built in Wolsztyn (Wielkopolskie Voivodship), in the area of Lipowa and Gajewskich streets (over 1,700 sqm), Bydgoszcz (GOPR and Andersa streets, 1,400 sqm) and
in Płock (Ułańska Street, over 2,000 sqm).

Representatives of the developer are chosen through tenders. The designs were created in cooperation
with a workshop with which Świtalski&Synowie realized its previous commercial investments in Poland. Let us recall that most of these outlets were designed by the Akant bis workshop from Przeźmierów. Investment plans assume the construction of approx. 20 retail-service outlets. ■

In May PGOM will announce tender for construction
of OBI hypermarket in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
A tender procedure, carried out by a request for quotes,
for the general contractor of the OBI hypermarket planned on Jana III Sobieskiego Street in Dąbrowa Górnicza (Śląskie Voivodship), near the “Pogoria” shopping center, will be announced soon. PGOM will serve as project manager for the developer - Mayland Real Estate. Documentation of the outlet, which will have a usable area of approx. 7,000 sqm (plus approx. 2,000 sqm which will be used for a Gymnasion chain fitness club), was prepared by the Atelier.com workshop and the development project of the land was prepared by Małgorzata Lisiak's Pro-Arch workshop. ■

CoBouw will build automobile showroom for Cornette. CoBouw has informed of having signed a contract
for the construction of the third hall, as part of the complex of outlets which the Cornette Company is building
in Sieradz (Łódzkie Voivodship). The company is currently planning to build an automobile showroom. The previous stages of the investment consisted of the construction
of two production halls with an area of approx. 2,000 sqm. ■

Termowit has commenced construction of Media Expert supermarket in Świdnica. In April the Termowit Company from Nowy Sącz commenced the construction
of a Media Expert supermarket in Świdnica (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The investment will be located near a Tesco shopping center on Strzegomska Street. Media Expert manages outlets offering household electronics. ■

Qumak Sekom will carry out construction works
for over 13 mln PLN on shopping center in Bytom.
Qumak Sekom, acting as sub-contractor for Erbud,
will build electrical and tele-technical installations for over 13 mln PLN as part of the construction of the Agora shopping center in Bytom (Śląskie Voivodship). Works
on the investment will take until mid October of next year.

Representatives of the management of Qumak Sekom are expecting that the company will be able to obtain contracts for the installation works on the football stadiums which are currently being built. The value of individual contracts, which should be signed in June, is estimated
at 40 mln PLN. ■

PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OUTLETS

Interak will build printing complex with area
of 13,000 sqm in Grzępy near Czarnków.
The Interak Printing Plant, one of the largest printing plants in Poland, is preparing the construction of an industrial complex
in Grzępy near Czarnków (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). The investment will include the construction of a complex of outlets with a total development area of approx.
13,000 sqm, which will consist of a printing hall, an office-social building and a production-warehouse outlet.
The company has recently purchased approx. 19 hectares of land for industrial activity for over 1.4 mln PLN. ■

DROB-BOGS is seeking contractor of production plant with area of 11,600 sqm. Offers for the construction
of a meat processing plant with an office-retail section and an area of 11,600 sqm in Kaleń, a commune of Wolbórz near Piotrków Trybunalski (Łódzkie Voivodship),
are being accepted until May 29. The planned date
of the commencement of the works is July of this year
and the works should be completed in May 2010. ■

Elektrobudowa will build production complex
with area of 8,000 sqm in Tychy.
Elektrobudowa
is conducting preparations for the construction
of a production complex on Serdeczna Street in Tychy (Śląskie Voivodship). An outlet with an area of approx. 8,000 sqm will be built on an approx. 2-hectare property. Elektrobudowa is planning to open a factory of appliances evacuating power from power plants. Administrative procedures are currently in progress at the local magistrate. ■

Famur has commenced procedure of choosing contractor
of production complex with area of 8,000 sqm in Katowice.
The Famur Company has announced an invitation
for submitting preliminary bids for the development
of the plant on Armii Krajowej Street in Katowice. Companies which will be asked by the investor to submit offers will be chosen on the basis of the preliminary offers.

The enterprise will consist of the disassembly
of existing outlets on an area of approx. 5 hectares
and the construction of two halls with a total area
of approx. 8,000 sqm. As we informed, Studio Projekt
from Cieszyn is taking part in the preparations. ■

Skanska will build warehouse-retail hall with area
of approx. 7,800 sqm in Bronisze near Warsaw.
Skanska has been chosen by the Warsaw Grocery-Agricultural Wholesale Market in a tender procedure for the choice
of the contractor of a warehouse-retail hall. The outlet,
with an area of approx. 7,800 sqm, will be opened as part of the development of the complex on Poznańska Street
in Bronisze near Warsaw. ■

Sanofi-Aventis will develop production complex on over 2 hectares in Rzeszów. Sanofi-Aventis, one of the largest pharmaceutical concerns, is getting ready
for the development of a production-warehouse complex
in Rzeszów (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The investor has already received administrative permits for the enterprise, which will be located on an approx. 2-hectare lot on Lubelska Street. The works will include the construction
of a drug warehouse with an area of over 2,000 sqm and the modernization and development of existing social outlets and other facilities.

During the realization of previous investments
in Rzeszów Sanofi cooperated with, for example,
the Corpores workshop. ■

PMP Real Estate will build production plant with area of 2,000 sqm in Ogrodzieniec. In late April PMP Real Estate received an environmental decision
for the construction of a production plant in Fugasówka near Ogrodzieniec (Śląskie Voivodship). The investment will consist of the construction of a hall with an area
of 2,000 sqm on an over 1.3-hectare lot. Let us recall
that PMP Real Estate, a company with Italian capital,
has built a hall with an area of 2,000 sqm for the Lisa Industrie ompany. The contractor was PW Pasek,
which has ties to PMP through members of the management. ■

Tomex is planning construction of production hall
with area of 3,000 sqm in Rad
owo Małe. The Tomex Company, which deals with the processing of wood,
is planning the development of a production plant
in Radowo Małe (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship).
The investor has already declared the will of purchasing
the area taken up by allotment gardens from the commune authorities. According to the investor's declarations, plans assume the construction of a new hall with an area
of 3,000 sqm and employing additionally 100 people. ■

Roldrob will develop production complex in Tomaszów Mazowiecki for approx. 30 mln PLN. The Roldrob Company from the Drosed group is planning to develop its production complex in Tomaszów Mazowiecki (Łódzkie Voivodship). The investor is planning to thoroughly reconstruct the existing hall with an area of approx.
2,000 sqm and to assemble technological lines
for the production of poultry hot-dogs. Works should begin in the second quarter of this year. ■

Voss will develop production complex in Legnickie Pole by 2,500 sqm. In late April Voss Automotive received administrative decisions connected with plans
for the development of a production complex in Legnickie Pole (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The investor is planning to build a new hall with an area of 2,500 sqm.
The company has also received permission
for commencing an investment in the Legnica Special Economic Zone.

The previous stages of the Voss complex were designed by the S+M Sumisławski & Mikołajczak workshop
from Wrocław; the contractors included Zueblin. ■

System Świecie is preparing construction of production-office complex with area of 2,600 sqm in Dworzysko. The System Świecie company is planning the development of a steel constructions production plant in Dworzysko (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). The investment, located in the Economic Development Zone Vistula Park, will consist of the construction of a hall with a usable area of 1,300 sqm and an office-social building (also area
of approx. 1,300 sqm). The design of the enterprise,
which is currently at the stage of issuing environmental permits, is being prepared by Design-Construction
from Grudziądz. ■

Delphi Poland is planning construction of production-warehouse hall with area of 2,600 sqm in Gdańsk. Delphi Poland, a producer of automobile parts, is preparing the development of the plant on Nowatorów Street
in Gdańsk-Kokoszki. Plans include the construction
of a warehouse-production hall with an area of 2,600 sqm. Procedures are currently in progress concerning establishing the effects of the investment
on the environment. Let us recall that the previous stage
of the development of the plant in Gdańsk was carried out for Delphi by Doraco. ■

Vlassenroot will develop production complex
in Gliwice.
Preparations for the development
of the Vlassenroot production complex on Bojkowska Street in Gliwice (Śląskie Voivodship) are at the stage
of acquiring administrative permits. The investor
is planning to develop the existing hall used
for the production of steel constructions. Thanks
to the enterprise, the factory's capacity will be increased
by 3-5 tons of steel products a year. Environmental permits were obtained on behalf of the investor by ZOŚiOB Zajączkowski.

Let us recall that the previous stages of the Vlassenroot factory in the Gliwice sub-zone of the KSSE were carried out by Democo as general contractor. ■

PGNiG, Polimex, Tauron and ZA Tarnów will cooperate on construction of heat and power plant.
On April 30 four companies (PGNiG, Polimex-Mostostal, Zakłady Azotowe from Tarnów, Tauron Polska Energia) signed a letter of intent on the basis of which they will work on the construction of the heat and power plant
in Tarnów (Małopolskie Voivodship). The outlet,
with a capacity of 200 MW, will be fueled with natural gas and will be built on the premises of Zakłady Azotowe
in Tarnów. ■

OFFICE BUILDINGS

Robyg is planning construction of office complex
with area of 40,000 sqm in Warsaw-Wilanów.

The Robyg Company is planning to build, through
a company called “Wilanów Office Center”, an office complex of the same name, in the area of Sobieskiego-bis Street and S2 Road. According to the concept, prepared
by the Atelier 3 Biuro Architektoniczne Girtler & Girtler, the investment will consist of a complex of buildings
with a height of 4-5 stories, including 39,400 sqm of net space for lease. Garages for over 1,000 vehicles have been planned on two underground levels. The date
of commencing the works has not been set yet.

Atelier 3 has cooperated with Robyd while designing residential investments in Wilanów, on Królowej Marysieński and Zdrowa streets. ■

Premiumred in cooperation with PPA Płaskowicki
is preparing construction of office buildings in Warsaw.
The Płaskowicki i Partnerzy (PPA Płaskowicki Partnerzy) Architectural Workshop, acting for Premiumred Polska, has prepared the concept of the “Salomea Business Park” office center on Jerozolimskie Avenue in Warsaw. Plans include the construction of three 9-story buildings
with a usable area of 27,000 sqm and an underground garage for 570 vehicles.

This will be Premiumred's second investment
in Poland. Last year the Austrian developer put to use
the “North Gate” office building, located on Bonifraterska Street in Warsaw. The general contracting contract,
worth almost 32 mln euro, was entrusted in 2006
to Mostostal Warszawa. The tender procedure
was supervised by EC Harris. ■

Muehsam-Elektromech is planning construction of office-service complex with cubature of 35,000 meters3. Jan K. Muehsam, the owner of Muehsam-Elektromech,
is planning the construction of an office-serivce complex
at the junction of Patriotów and Mrówcza streets
in Warsaw. The concept of the three-story complex
(with an additional underground level which will be used as a garage for 139 vehicles) was prepared by APA Wojciechowski, and the complex will have a total area
of 9,500 sqm, including 8,200 sqm of usable space and
a cubature of 35,000 meters3. The investment is currently
at the stage of awaiting the issuing of a conditions
of development decision. ■

Studio Gomez is preparing design of office building
for Kronos with area of 5,400 sqm in Warsaw.
Studio Gomez has prepared the concept for the construction
of an office building on Saska Street in Warsaw for Kronos Real Estate. The usable area of the planned outlet
will reach 5,400 sqm (including 4,200 sqm of office space and 1,300 sqm of underground garages). The schedule
of the project is not known yet. ■

Polkomtel is preparing construction of office complex on Puławska Street in Warsaw. Polkomtel, the operator of the Plus cellular network, applied in late April
to the City Council of Warsaw for administrative permits for the construction of the Park Baletowa complex.
The enterprise will consist of the construction of a complex of office buildings and a technological outlet in the area
of Puławska Street. We have not managed to find out
the details of the investment. ■

Budimex Dromex has submitted bid for building border terminal in Dołhobyczów for 22 mln PLN. Seventeen companies have submitted bids in a tender procedure
for the construction of the first stage of the Road Border Crossing in Dołhobyczów (Lubelskie Voivodship).
The lowest offer, with a price of over 22.4 mln PLN,
was submitted by Budimex Dromex, the second lowest price was offered by Erbud (23 mln PLN), while the most expensive bid was submitted by Mostostal Puławy (approx. 34 mln PLN).

The investment will consist of the construction
of a main terminal with an area of approx. 5,500 sqm, along with customs control outlets and pavilions
of the Border patrol. Works should be completed
by December 16 of this year. The design of the enterprise was prepared by Arconel from Lublin. ■

Kontrapunkt V will prepare seat of Center
of Mechatronics in Poznań for 465,000 PLN.
Kontrapunkt V-Projekt has received an order
from the authorities of the Poznań University
of Technology for preparing the documentation of the new seat of the Center of Mechatronics, Biomechanics
and Nano-engineering. The building will have an area
of 16,000 sqm and will be built at the junction of Jana Pawła II Street and Berdychowo. Barysz Point Line (960,000 PLN) and PM Group Polska (898,000 PLN)
also tried to acquire the contract. ■

Library complex for over 71 mln PLN will be built
in Białystok.
The Marshall's Office of the Podlaskie Voivodship is planning the construction of a new building (approx. 16,000 sqm) of Książnica Podlaska (Podlaska Library) in Białystok (Podlaskie Voivodship). The cost
of the enterprise will reach approx. 71 mln PLN, including almost 61 mln PLN which will be provided through EU subsidies. Two possible locations are being considered
for the investment: on a lot with an area of 2,000 sqm
in the area of Odeska and Kijowska streets, near the Opera and the Philharmonic, and on a 6,000-sqm lot on Złota Street, near the Teacher Training Center. ■

BLM will design laboratory-teaching outlet in Lublin for 1.2 mln PLN. The Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) has entrusted Bieńkowski, Lis, Mierzwa Architekci with a contract worth 272,000 euro gross (approx.
1.2 mln PLN) for preparing the complete documentation
of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research. The planned laboratory-teaching outlet, with a cubature of approx. 30,000 meters3, will be built next to the Biotechnology building on Konstantynów Street, for which a contracting tender procedure is currently being organized. ■

Studio DNA will prepare documentation for adaptation of former army barracks with area of 5,000 sqm. Daniel Niedbała's DNA Studio has submitted the lowest offer
in a tender procedure for the realization of a complete adaptation design of a former army barracks
on Sobieskiego Street in Gniezno (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) into a teaching complex. Assman, Probud, Niras, Ekobud and Barysz Point Line are also taking part
in the procedure.

Let us recall that 3 high schools, a library, an archive and the local labor office will be located
in the modernization buildings with an area of 5,000 sqm. Documentation should be ready within 4 months. ■

UMK is seeking contractor for teaching outlet with area of 3,500 sqm in Toruń. Nicolaus Copernicus University (UMK) is accepting offers with a tender deposit
of 200,000 PLN for the general contracting
for the development of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Computer Sciences on Grudziądzka Street in Toruń. The enterprise, designed by PM Group, will consist
of the construction of the Quantum Optics Center
with a usable area of 3,500 sqm. The investment,
with an estimated cost of 25 mln PLN, will be completed by the end of March 2011. ■

Barysz Point Line wins tender for architect
of Modernity Center in Toruń.
The offer made
by architectural office Barysz Point Line has been evaluated as the best in a tender issued by the Toruń authorities regarding the design of the Modernity Center and the Toruń Technology Incubator on Łokietka Street. Documentation of the complex with a total area of nearly 5,000 sqm should be ready by next February.

On 5th May it was also announced that the contractor had officially been chosen for Collegium Humanisticum
in Toruń. The contract, worth nearly 70 million PLN gross, will be carried out by a consortium established
by Mostostal Warszawa, Acciona Infraestructuras,
APA Kuryłowicz and DB Projekt. ■

Władysławów commune authorities seek contractor
for middle school building with area of 3,200 sqm.

20th May is the deadline for submitting offers
with a deposit of 100,000 PLN, concerning
the construction of a middle school building with an area
of 3,300 sqm and cubature of 17,700 meters3
in Władysławowo, in Turek district (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). Design documentation of the building
has been prepared by the employees of the Architecture Department of the District Starost's Office in Turek.
The works should be finalized by 31st August 2010. ■

PAN seeks contractor for extension and modernization of Agrophysics Institute in Lublin. 19th May
is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 240,000 PLN, regarding modernization and extension
of the Agrophysics Institute at the Polish Academy
of Science (PAN) in Lublin. A building with an area
of 3,000 sqm will be constructed on Dobrzańskiego Street, on the basis of design prepared by Tadeusz de Sas Stupnicki. The works should take 18 months. ■

Locum makes best offer in tender for architect
of teaching building in Niedźwiedź.
The authorities
of the Słomniki commune (Małopolskie Voivodship) have chosen the offer by Kalisz based Locum in a tender
for the development of documentation for a teaching complex in Niedźwiedź. The investment, the concept
of which had been prepared by Krakow based Studio Architektury I Krajobrazu, will comprise the construction of a 3-story building with an area of 4,100 sqm
and cubature of 19,500 meters3. Architectural works are
to be finalized by the end of this October. ■

HB-Unibud and PBO Śląsk will carry out contracts worth nearly 10 million PLN in Śląskie Voivodship. Two offers are being considered by the authorities of Wyry (Śląskie Voivodship) in a tender for the modernization
of the Schools Complex on Puszkina Street. HB-Unibud from Czechowice-Dziedzice is offering to carry out
the works for over 4.4 million PLN gross, and Plater
for over 4.7 million PLN gross. Design documentation
of the building with an area of 2,400 sqm has been prepared by the Prokon office. The works should be finalized by 30th September 2011.

Meanwhile, the modernization of the Muza cinema
in Sosnowiec for the purposes of a concert-performance hall with seats for approx. 500 people is also going to cost nearly 5 million PLN gross. A contract regarding general contracting of the investment has been ordered
to Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego Śląsk. ■

Kielce authorities seek architect for kindergarten
with area of 2,700 sqm.
12th May is the deadline
for submitting offers with a deposit of 10,000 PLN concerning the development of documentation
of a kindergarten on Szajnowicza St. in Kielce.
The concept design of the 2-story building with an area
of 2,700 sqm and cubature of 11,000 meters3 has been prepared by Danuta Jaroszyńska-Ziach's office.
The contract is to be carried out by 30th November of this year. ■

Locum and ZB architectural offices will design teaching building with area of 2,700 sqm in Elbląg.
The consortium of Kalisz based architectural offices - Małgorzata Paszyn's Locus and Stanisław and Janina Patyna's ZB - has won a tender for the development
of a design for the extension of the campus of the State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) on Grunwaldzka Street in Elbląg (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). The value of the contract, the completion of which is to take half
a year, will amount to 378,000 PLN. The investment
will comprise modernization of the existing building
and construction of a new pavilion with a total area
of 2,700 sqm. ■

Anro and Moduł will build teaching buildings
in Wrocław for approx. 7.7 million PLN.
In the past few days, the Municipal Investments Management (ZIM)
in Wrocław began two contracting tenders
for the construction of kindergarten buildings. The building on Krepicka Street will be erected for 3.6 million PLN by PPH Ando, and designed by Cetner Studio Architektoniczne, while the investment on Wałbrzyska St. will be carried out for over 4.1 million PLN by Moduł System Serwis. ■

HOUSING INVESTMENTS

Immoeast, together with NewHorizon, will build complex with approx. 300 flats in Warsaw. Immoeast, together with NewHorizon, is preparing a partnership Residea Sigma for the purpose of building a residential complex at 23 Hery Street in Warsaw. The complex, designed by Piotr Piętka's office A-M-P-Studio, is going
to have nearly 300 flats. The 1st stage, which is to begin
at the turn of this and next year, will comprise
the construction of two buildings with 133 flats in total
and usable areas of 29-135 sqm. The second stage
will comprise another two buildings with over 150 flats. ■

JEMS Architekci is designing residential complexes with area of over 17,000 sqm in Warsaw for WAN. JEMS Architekci is designing a residential complex
on Marymoncka Street in Warsaw for WAN. The first stage will comprise the construction of 114 flats
with a total usable area of 6,900 sqm, and the second
with approx. 8,000 sqm.

WAN is also preparing the construction, according
to JEMS Architekci's design, of an apartment building
on Ludna Street in Milanówek near Warsaw. It is still not known when the works on the building with usable area
of 2,100 sqm are going to begin. ■

Ronson in cooperation with CK Architekci is preparing construction of apartment building with area of 15,000 sqm. Works on the construction of an apartment building
with a service-shopping section are going to begin next year at 23 Kłobucka Street in Warsaw. The developer
of the 12-story building (one of the levels
will be appropriated for an underground parking lot
with 203 parking spaces) is Ronson. The design
of the building with a total area of nearly 16,000 sqm
and cubature of over 50,000 meters3 has been prepared
by the Chrzanowski Klepin Architekci office.

Currently Ronson, in cooperation with Kielce based construction company Unimax, is building a residential complex on Braci Stryjeńskich Street in Warsaw.
The contract worth nearly 50 million PLN will comprise the construction of a complex of 5-story buildings
with 160 flats in total. ■

HomeCenter in cooperation with Żera2 is planning construction of apartment building with area of 12,000 sqm. Next year, works on the construction of an apartment complex are to begin between Wilanowska Av.
and Arbuzowa St. The developer of the complex
with 4-8 stories is going to be the Israeli company HomeCenter, managed by Reuven Shapira. The design
of the building with a total area of over 12,000 sqm and cubature of 43,000 meters3 has been prepared by the Żera2 Architekci office in cooperation with Pro-Invest.
An application regarding permission for the realization
of the investment has already been submitted.

We have informed in PREM that HomeCenter
is planning the construction of a residential complex
in Krakow. The complex, situated on Bartycka Street,
is going to have approx. 700 apartments with a total usable area of 46,500 sqm.

Meanwhile, buildings with a usable area of approx. 16,500 sqm will be erected on Belwederska Street
in Poznań, and buildings with a net area of 36,500 sqm
in the Przeźmierowo district. ■

B2 Studio is preparing residential complex with area
of approx. 300,000 sqm in Krakow for Budimex.
Budimex Nieruchomości is conducting administrative proceedings concerning plans for the construction
of a residential complex in Krakow-Czyżyny, in the area
of Stella-Sawickiego, Włodarczyka and Kłosowskiego streets. The concept, prepared by Józef Białasik's office B2 Studio, anticipates the construction of a complex
with a total area of approx. 300,000 sqm. The investment will comprise the construction, on a land plot with an area of 15 hectares, of a complex of buildings with a building development area of 32,000 sqm (including a usable area of flats of approx. 180,000 sqm), with 2,600 parking spaces. ■

Sawa-Tech is preparing construction of residential-office complex with cubature of 114,000 meters3 in Warsaw.
Sawa-Tech Projektowanie I Wykonawstwo has prepared, for a private investor whose name has not been revealed, documentation of a residential-office complex
at the junction of Grochowska and Omulewska streets
in Warsaw. The investment will comprise the construction of a building with 11 above-ground stories
and 2 underground levels, with a total area of 31,600 sqm and cubature 114,000 meters3. Office-service premises
are to take up the lowermost stories, and the upper part
will have 70 flats with a usable area of 67-120 sqm
(6,100 sqm in total). The construction works are to begin
at the turn of this and next year. ■

Studio Projekt Gałuszka will prepare documentation for TBS residential complex with 180 flats in Oświęcim. Sebastian Gałuszka's Studio Projekt has won a tender
for the development of a concept for the development
of 1.4 hectares of land on Zagrodowa Street in the Stare Stawy residential complex in Oświęcim (Śląskie Voivodship) and designing of the 1st stage of a residential complex (building with 40-60 flats with a usable area
of 2,000-2,500 sqm). Completion of the contract will take
3 months. The complex, the investor of which is Oświęcimskie Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego (Oświęcim based Social Building Association),
will be comprised of 3 buildings with approx. 180 flats
and a usable area of approx. 8,000 sqm. ■

PW Ebud Przemysłówka signs contract worth 23.1 million PLN for construction of residential complex in Szczecin.
It was recently announced that Przedsiębiorstwo Wielobranżowe Ebud Przemysłówka signed a contract worth 23.1 million PLN in a tender for general contracting of a residential complex in Szczecin, issued by Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego “Prawobrzeże”.

The investment, planned in the area of Gwarna
and Romantyczna streets, will comprise the construction
of a complex of six 4-story buildings with 162 flats
with usable areas of 40-71 sqm (8,600 sqm in total). Documentation of the investment, the completion
of which is going to take 15 months, has been prepared
by Szczecin based Firma Projektowa Nawrocki. ■

Willa Wilanów will build, according to design by Pro Idea, complex of 56 single-family houses in Warsaw. This year, Spółka Willa Wilanów is planning to begin
the construction of Villa Natura complex of single-family houses in Kępa Zawadowska in Warsaw. The planned complex is going to have 56 buildings with areas
of 219-372 sqm. The design of the investment has been prepared by Jerzy Dziuba's office Pro Idea. The investment should be finalized in 2011. ■

TBS in Głogów is planning construction of building with 90 flats. Until 15th May, Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego (Social Building Association) in Głogów (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) will be collecting offers
with a deposit of 2,000 sqm in a tender for the development of a concept and design for a residential building No. 13, on Książąt Oleśnickich Street in the Piastów Śląskich residential complex. The investment will comprise
the construction of a 4-story building with 90 flats. Works on the contract are to be finalized by the end of next January.

Soon TBS Głogów is going to issue a tender
for the construction of building No. 12, the design
of which is being prepared by Agencja Budowlana Kaldo. ■

Wikana purchases land plot with area of over 3.5 hectares for construction of residential complex in Lublin. Last week it was announced that Wikana had purchased land plots with an area of 3.5 hectares for the construction
of a residential complex in Lublin. Over 4 million PLN were paid for land plots situated in the Wrotków district. ■

WAM seeks architect for concept of residential complex in Mińsk Mazowiecki. 13th May is the deadline
for submitting offers for the development of a program and spatial concept for a residential complex in Mińsk Mazowiecki. According to guidelines set by the investor - Military Housing Agency (WAM) - at least 70 flats will be built on a land plot with an area of 4 hectares. Completion of the contract is going to take 50 days. ■

HOTELS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS

ABP Studio is preparing design of hotel complex
with area of 24,000 sqm near Przemyśl for Pro Dom.
Dolina Sanu, a company associated with Krakow based developer Investor Pro Dom, applied for the Commune Office in Krzywcza near Przemyśl (Podkarpackie voivodship) for establishing the influence of construction of a hotel-recreation complex on the environment.
The design of the investment is being prepared by Bartosz Prokop from Krakow based office ABP Studio. The plans anticipate the development of a land plot with an area
of over 2 hectares for the purposes of a complex
of buildings with a building development area of over 6,000 sqm and a total area of approx. 24,000 sqm. ■

Arsa prepares concept of hotel complex in Gdynia
for Castle Investments.
Studio Architektoniczne Arsa Bomerski&Piątkowski is supervising administrative proceedings concerning plans for the construction
of a hotel complex in Gdynia by the Irish company Castle Investments. The investor, associated with Horyzont Group, purchased for approx. 12 million PLN the building of the former Bank Polski at the junction of 10 Lutego
and 3 Maja Street. The building, with a usable area
of approx. 2,500 sqm, will be adapted for the purposes
of a hotel with restaurant facilities. The investment will also include the construction of a new hotel, which will be situated in the vicinity of the existing historical building development. Currently, the investment's concept is being consulted on with the municipal conservator of historical buildings.

Horyzont Group is also getting ready for the realization of housing investments in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
The company purchased, for 14 million PLN, two land plots on Sosnowskiego St. and Jana Pawła II Square. ■

Arch-Studio-Projekt prepares concept of hotel
for 14 million PLN in Niepołomice.
Marek Papuga
from Bocheń based office Arch-Studio-Projekt has prepared a concept for a conference-hotel building
on Kościuszki Street in Niepołomice (Małopolskie Voivodship). The investor is the Gminna Spółdzielnia Samopomoc Chłopska cooperative. The investment
will comprise the construction of a 3-star building
with 28 rooms, conference premises for 50 people
and restaurant facilities for 110 guests. ■

Immobilia Polonia will appropriate 14 million PLN
for construction of hotel in Wrocław.
Immobilia Polonia is collecting offers for general contracting
for the adaptation of a tenement house in Wrocław.
It is estimated that modernization of the building
for the purposes of a three-star hotel with an area
of 3,000 sqm will consume 14 million PLN. ■

Unibep makes offer worth 68 million PLN
for construction of sports hall in Częstochowa.

The consortium whose leader is Unibep has made an offer worth 68 million PLN in a tender for general contracting
of a sports hall at the junction of Żużlowa and Marysia streets in Częstochowa. The functional and usability program of the building with a total area of 24,000 sqm and cubature of 220,000 meters3 has been prepared by Bydgoszcz based office Arus.

Other participants of the tender are a consortia whose leaders are Mostostal Warszawa (97.5 million PLN), Przemysłówka Częstochowa (109.8 million PLN), Alpine Bau (116 million PLN), PORR (116.4 million PLN), Vectra (140.3 million PLN), Alstal (189.9 million PLN).

In the past few days it was also announced that the best offer (722,000 PLN) for the function of contract engineer on the construction of the hall in Częstochowa has been made by Wudimeks. Other participants of the tender are Warsaw based Bud-Invent, Miastoprojekt Wrocław,
and the consortia og Grontmij with Inwestprojekt Świętokrzyski and Primex with Przedsiębiorstwo Inwestycji I Budownictwa in Kielce. ■

Wrobis will erect, for 54.7 million PLN, hospital-teaching buildings in Wrocław. Wrobis has acquired
a contract worth 54.7 million PLN gross concerning
the design and realization of finishing works
on the construction of the Clinical Center on Borowska Street in Wrocław. Another candidate for the contract
was Budimex-Dromex, who offered the price
of 66.8 million PLN. The investment, conducted
by the Medical Academy (AM), will comprise
the construction of buildings with a usable area of over 25,500 sqm and cubature of over 100,000 meters3. Completion of the contract will take 19 months. ■

Consortium with Warbud makes offer worth 54 million PLN for construction of sports hall in Ostrowiec Św. The consortium of Warbud, Ostrowiecki Kombinat Budowlany and WKS Ostrowiec made the lowest offer, with the price of 54 million PLN, in a tender
for the contracting of a sports-performance hall
in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. Other participants
of the tender are Budimex, Flisbud Lublin, Mostostal, Polimex and Erbud, who offered the highest price
(62 million PLN).

Let us recall that last November, the lowest price
in the tender, amounting to 62 million PLN and offered
by Budimex, exceeded the investment's budget
by 12 million PLN. Documentation of the complex
has been prepared by Janusz Pachowski's Izabelin based office Pracownia Projektowa. ■

Budimex makes offer worth 27.3 million PLN
for construction of National Center for Polish Song.

On 6th May, offers were opened in a tender
for the construction of the National Center for Polish Song in Opole. The lowest offer for the investment,
with the price of 27.3 million PLN, has been made
by Budimex Dromex. The investment, designed by Biuro 87A, will comprise the modernization of Tysiąclecia Amphitheater on Piastowska Street. The works should take 22 months. ■

Bytom authorities are planning to spend 50 million PLN
on construction of stadium for 15,000 spectators.
8th May is the deadline for submitting offers for the development
of a functional program and design documentation
for the extension of the sports stadium on Olimpijska Street in Bytom. After the modernization, the stadium should fulfill UEFA's requirements for 3rd category stadiums,
as well as increase its capacity to 15,000 spectators
from the current 3,600. The total cost of the investment cannot exceed 50 million PLN. Works on the contract are to be finalized by 30th September of this year. ■

Ostrów Wlkp authorities are planning to appropriate 50 million PLN for construction of sports hall.
The authorities of Ostrów Wielkopolski appropriated approx. 15 million PLN from this year's budget
for the construction of a sports-performance hall. The hall will be situated in the area of the former military base between Wojska Polskiego and Dworcowa streets.
The City Council has already adopted a spatial development plan for these land plots and is planning
to purchase them from the Agency of Military Property (AMW). The investment worth approx. 50 million PLN
is to be finalized within a period of 4 years. ■

MCRD seeks contractor for medical building with area of 5,600 sqm in Radziszewo. Małopolskie Centrum Rehabilitacji Dzieci “Solidarność” (MCRD - children's rehabilitation center) has issued a tender for the extension of the main building of the hospital on Podlesie St.
in Radziszewo (Małopolskie Voivodship). The investment will comprise modernization of the existing building
and construction of a 3-story pavilion. The usable area
of the buildings included in the investment amounts
to 5,600 sqm, and the cubature will be 25,200 meters3. Offers with a deposit of 80,000 PLN are to be submitted by 26th May. The investment, the documentation of which has been prepared by the Pro-Medicus office, is to be finalized by 31st October 2011. ■

Warbud-Coverion consortium will carry out construction works on Cinema City in Częstochowa. Warbud has infomed that, in a consortium with Coverion Polska, they acquired a contract for the realization
of finishing and installation works on the construction
of a multi-screen Cinema City cinema in Galeria Jurajska shopping center in Częstochowa (Śląskie Voivodship).
The contract signed on 24th April, the value of which has not been revealed, is to be carried out by this August
for I.T. Poland Development. The total area of the building, the substitute investor of which is Arch Magis, amounts
to nearly 3,200 sqm, and the cubature will be over
25,200 meters3. ■

Sulechów authorities seek contractor for swimming pool with area of 3,800 sqm. 20th May is the deadline
for submitting offers with a deposit of 300,000 PLN concerning the construction of a swimming pool and modernization of the stadium in Sulechów (Lubuskie Voivodship) on Dr Judyma Street. Design documentation of the building with an area of 3,800 sqm and cubature
of 27,000 meters3 has been prepared by Szczecin based architectural office MXL4. The works should be finalized by the end of December 2010. The contract regarding
the project manager function on the Sulechów based investment has been ordered to Zielona Góra based company Diagonal. ■

San-Bud makes offer of 11.4 million PLN
for construction of sports complex in Lwówek Śląski.
Zielona Góra based San-Bud has made the lowest offer (11.4 million PLN) in a tender for the construction
of the Inter-School Sports Center at Primary School No. 2 in Lwówek Śląski (Dolnośląskie Voivodship).
Other participants of the tender include Martifer, Integer, JanBud, Prefabet, Budmar, PB Stryjkowski
and Modernbud. The most expensive offer, approx.
16 million PLN, has been made by Wojdyła.

The investment will comprise the construction
of a sports hall with a usable area of 3,100 sqm
and cubature of 25,000 meters3, with the main arena sized 24 x 44 m. The investment, designed by Płock based office Mapro, should be finalized by 31st July 2010. ■

Hospital in Głogów seeks contractor for the Emergency Ward building with area of 3,000 sqm. 20th May
is the deadline for submitting offers for the construction

Arch-Dom makes best offer for designing AWF Rehabilitation Center in Biała Podlaska. Biuro Projektowe Archi-Dom has made the best offer
(240,300 PLN) in a tender for the development of a design for the University Center for Pro-health Education
and Rehabilitation on Sitnicka St. in Biała Podlaska.

for Nervously and Mentally Ill in Stronie Śląskie (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The design of the building
with an area of 2,300 sqm and cubature of 15,000 meters3 is to be ready within a period of 6 months. ■

In June, Iława authorities will choose contractor
for tourism and recreation center.
The authorities
of Iława commune (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) have issued a tender for the construction of a tourism
and recreation center at the junction of Sienkiewicza, Konstytucji 3 Maja and Biskupska streets. The investment, designed by Paweł Tiepłow's architectural office,
will comprise the construction of a complex with a usable area of 3,000 sqm and cubature of 17,500 meters3, including a complex of swimming pools, bowling alley, gym and beauty parlor. Offers (without deposit) will be collected until 21st May. The works are to be finalized by 30th September 2010. ■

Warsaw-Ochota district authorities seek contractor
for sports hall with area of 2,400 sqm.
Until 21st May, the authorities of Warsaw-Ochota district will be collecting offers with a deposit of 100,000 PLN concerning general contracting of a gym at the Middle School No. 16
at 8 Skarżyńskiego Street. The investment, designed
by APA Archis, will comprise the construction of a hall with a usable area of approx. 2,400 sqm. The construction works, the cost of which is estimated at no more
than 8.5 million PLN, are to be finalized by 15th December of next year. ■

Authorities of Fabianki, Wojcieszów and Miedźno seek contractors for sports-performance halls. Fabianki Commune Office (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship)
has issued a tender for general contracting of a sports-performance hall at the Primary School in Cyprianka. Offers for a 2-story building with a building development area of approx. 1,300 sqm and cubature of nearly
9,100 meters3, with a deposit of 100,000 PLN,
can be submitted by 21st May, and the works should
be finalized by mid-2011.

Meanwhile, until 26th May, Wojcieszów Commune (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) will be collecting offers
with a deposit of 120,000 PLN for the construction
of a hall at the Schools Complex on Żeromskiego St.
The building development area of the hall, which is to be ready by 30th July 2011, will amount to approx. 1,200 sqm, and the cubature will be 8,600 meters3.

The authorities of Miedźno (Śląskie Voivodship) have set 28th May as the deadline for submitting offers (deposit 100,000 PLN) for the construction of a hall in Ostrowów on Oksza River. The building with a usable area of approx. 1,300 sqm and cubature of 8,300 meters3 is to be ready by the end of October of next year. ■

Sanit-Gaz will receive 215,000 PLN for designing modernization of hospital in Lublin. Lublin based company Sanit-Gaz has won a tender for the development of a design, along with the author's supervision,
for the modernization of premises of B and C buildings
of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital on Lubartowska St. in Lublin. Design documentation of the building
with a total area of 1,600 sqm is to be ready by the end
of this July. ■

INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS

GDDKiA is seeking contractor of A4 highway and S19 Road in Rzeszów. The Rzeszów branch of GDDKiA (General Directorate of Roads and Highways) has announced a tender procedure for the general contracting
of the A4 highway, between the Rzeszów Zachód
and Rzeszów Wschód junctions and the S19 Road,
from the Rzeszów Zachód junction to Świlcza. The order includes the construction of 3 bridges, 9 viaducts
and 6 passes. Applications for taking part in the procedure (with a tender deposit of 4 mln PLN) should be submitted by June 1. The order should be completed
within 18 months. ■

Scott Wilson will design development of Olsztyn-Biskupiec road for 6.7 mln PLN. The Olsztyn branch
of GDDKiA (General Directorate of Roads and Highways) has entrusted the Scott Wilson workshop with a contract worth 6.7 mln PLN gross for preparing the documentation for the development of National Road No. 16; the Olsztyn-Biskupiec section. The enterprise will include
the construction of one lane on a section of 25 km.
The order will be completed by January 31, 2011. ■

Strabag, Eurovia, NDI, Skanska are interested in construction of A2 highway section Stryków-Konotopa. The Warsaw branch of GDDKiA (General Directorate
of Roads and Highways) has opened offers in five restricted tender procedures concerning the construction
of the A2 highway, between Stryków and Konotopa (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The following companies are interested in obtaining the contract: Pol-Dróg Piła, Strabag, Eurovia, NDI, Astaldi, Skanska, Terrag-Asdag, Autostrada Wschodnia, Dragados, SRB Civil Engineering, Mostostal Warszawa, Johann Bunte, MSF-Moniz da Maia, Budimex Dromex, J&P Avax, Bifinger Berger, DTP Terrassment, Torg, Mosty-Łódź, Hermann Kirchner, Alpine Bau, China Overseas Engineering, PBG and PBDiM from Mińsk Mazowiecki. The order concerns the construction
of sections of the following lengths: 29 km, 17 km, 20 km, 18 km and 7 km. General contractors will be chosen
in September of this year and the investment is planned

Aquanet is seeking contractor of sanitary collector
4.2 km long in Poznań.
Offers with a tender deposit
of 2 mln PLN for the construction of a sanitary collector 4.2 km long and tele-technical canalization 3.9 km long
in the area of Ulga Canal in Cybin in Poznań,
and the reconstruction of the rain and technical sewerage
in the area of Rondo Środka, are being accepted until June 1. The contract was ordered by Aquanet. The contract
is to be completed within 25 months. ■

ZIKiT Kraków is seeking contractor of 2 underground parking lots with area of 21,000 sqm. Offers
with a tender deposit of 1 mln PLN are being accepted until June 15 in a tender procedure announced by ZIKiT (Krakow Management of Communal and Transport Infrastructure) for the design and general contracting
of 2-level underground garages in the area of the Municipal Stadium in Krakow, with entrances from Reymonta Street and 3 Maja Street. The contractor's remuneration will be
a 39-year franchise for using the outlet. The parking garages are to be put to use within 14 months. ■

Consortium of Mirbud-PRD Lubartów-Mostmar
will build bypass of Mszczonów for 68 mln PLN.

On May 6 the Warsaw branch of GDDKiA (General Directorate of Roads and Highways) has announced
that the moist advantageous bid for the construction
of the bypass of Mszczonów was submitted by Mirbud from Skierniewice, PRD Lubartów and Mostmar.
The consortium is asking for almost 68 mln PLN gross
for the realization of the contract. ■

Klotoida will receive 1.9 mln PLN for reconstruction design of DK nr 42. The Łodź branch of GDDKiA (General Directorate of Roads and Highways) has entrusted the Klotoida workshop from Krakow with preparing
the reconstruction design of a 12-km section of National Road No. 42, between Działoszyn and Pajęczno. The order should be completed by May 2010. Other companies
which tried to acquire the contract were: Lafrentz Polska (2.5 mln PLN) and Scott Wilson (2.85 mln PLN). ■

Pro-Tra Building will rebuild Wrocław Downtown Bypass for 46 mln PLN. Wrocław Road and City Maintenance Management has entrusted the consortium created by Pro-Tra Building, Jumarpol and Budren
with preparing a 3.5 km section of the Downtown Bypass with the Airport in Wrocław. The scope of the works
will include the reconstruction of surrounding streets
and existing technical infrastructure. ■

Strabag to take part in procedure for development
of Cracovia Stadium.
After a re-evaluation of applications for taking part in a tender procedure for the reconstruction of the football stadium on Kałuży Street in Krakow,
the decision was made to admit Strabag into the second part of the procedure, to replace the Spanish Ascan Company. Additionally, Alpine Bau, Budimex, Skanska and Warbud have been invited to prepare bids
for the contract, the value of which is estimated
for 150 mln PLN.

We also informed last week that Strabag would carry out for 20 mln PLN. the renovation of the surface
of National Road 7, on the section: border
of Świętokrzyskie Voivodship - Książ Wielki. ■

AECOM has taken over Savant. The American group AECOM Technology Corporation, which deals
with coordinating large construction projects, informed
on May 1 of having purchased the Savant Company. Thanks to this takeover, the holding will expand its activity into new areas, primarily in Eastern Europe.

Savant has been active in Poland since 2005.
It is currently working on the construction of the Hilton Hotel in Wrocław, the “Park Postępu” office complex
and the Feliz Residence and Tulipany housing estates
in Warsaw. We will soon inform in PREM
of the company's another significant contract. ■
