12. LCD (=LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY)

LCD shows ihe curreni slatus of the unii.

13.    PWR (=POWER)

Press once to tum on the unit. Press once again to tum the power off.

14.    FAST FORWARD/RRWIND BUTTONS -44 ►►

These 2 buttons perform the dual functions of changing the direction of tape playback and fast forward (►►) / rewind (44) of the tape.

•    Cliange Tape Playback Direction:

Press both buttons togethcr to play the other sidc of a tape.

•    Fast Forward!Rewind:

Press the button with the double arrows pointing the same direction as the direction indicator on the LCD to fast forward; press other button in the opposite direction to fast rewind. Notę:

•    Do not directly change each other forward and rewind. Press both the fast forward and rewind together to play modę first. and then change to the other modę as below:

- F.F. -4-► Play ■*-► Rew. -

15.    MOD (=MODE)

Press this button to choose desired listening modę.

(e.g. radio modę or tape modę)

16.    1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Preset stations at tuner modę. With this system, a total of 30 stations can be stored in the memory.

The stations might be FM1. FM2. FM3. AM l/MW and AM2/LW band. The operation is as below:

•    Storę In Memory

Press and hołd desired preset button for morę than 2 seconds. The current listening station will be stored into the preset.

•    RetrieveA Preset Station

Press any one of the button (1 to 6) to relrieve a station which had been stored in the memory, the chosen number is shown on display.

17.    CASSETTE COMPARTMENT

Insert a cassette into the cassette compartment. The cassette mechanism wili turn into play modę.

18.    EJECT

Press the "OPEN" button to open the front panel and then press the ejccl button to eject the cassette.

19.    FLASH1NG LED

If the front panel is removed. the LED will be flashing.

20.    RESET

Reset button is placed on the housing and musi be activalcd with either a ballpoint pen or thinner metal objęci. II is rcccssed to prcvent accidental engagement. Ali radio programming will be clcarcd after pressing the reset button. Therefore, the reset button is to be activated for initial installation of the unit when all wiring is completed.
