Entrelac Patterns

This child's sweater can be worked in any size. The diagram shows the different areas of color of the sweater.

Błock the finished pieces of the child's sweater only slightly so that it doesn't get too fiat. Sow all the seams from the outside using in-visible stitch.

This example shows a rounded, straight neckline. If the colors are laid out vertically, the front and the back should be worked crosswise— i.e., from side seam to side seam. Otherwise, the yarn ends have to be sewn In for every color change. The sleeves are worked from top to bottom, as in the other examples.

Two ways of making V-neck sweaters: For a very wide neckline. continue the V all the way to the shoulder.

For a slightly narrower neckline, knit another smali triangle at the top edge of the neckline on both sides.
