The Tooth Fairy Club
Big smiles are surę to abound when students see their names on this display. Cover the board with dark blue background paper. Enlarge, color, and cut out the Tooth Fairy pattern (page 111) and attach it to the board. Copy and cut out several copies of the tooth pattern (page 110). When a student loses a tooth, write her name and the datę on a tooth pattern, then post it on the display. Have students make fairy wands by decorating copies of the star pattern (page 85) and attaching colored dowel rods or straws to each. Accent the board with the fairy wands.
Happy Birthday to You!
Extend happy birthday wishes to your students with this festive display. Cover the board with pink background paper or wrapping paper. Make a large bow using paper, ribbon, or fabric and attach it to the corner of the board so the board resembles a gift box. Enlarge a class supply of candle patterns (pages 60) and twelve cake patterns (page 112). Color and cut out the patterns. Label each cake with the name of a month. Post the cakes on the display. Write each student s name and birth datę on a candle pattern, then place the candles on the appropriate cake.
