2 Preparation

1.    Cut flower design from. piywood.

2.    Lightly sand and elear, surfaces of wood cutout and nightstand.

3.    Basecoat night stand with rwo coats of white latex paint. Let dr/.

4.    Transfer pattern of pots ar.d flowers to

wood cutout.

5.    On wood cutout. fcasecoat the fołlowing areas:

Pots Sunflower

Daisy - Wicker White Sunflower - Sunflower Let dry.

6.    Dip dampened sponge into Basil Green. Sponge edges and knobs of night stand, i Refer to photo of project.)

7.    load the 1" fiat brush with a iittle Floating Medium, Sunflower, and Terra Cotta. With Terra Cotta turned to outer edge. adć details and shading to pots. (Refer to photo of project.).

8.    When dry, transfer remainder of pattern.

3 Paint the Design

Pink Petal Flower:

Refer to Painting Worksheet .#3.

1.    Doubie load Wicker White and Berr/ Winę on the l" fiat brush. Tum Berry Winę to outer edge. Paint petals.

2.    Pounce flower center with Yeilow Ochrę and a touch of Mapie Syrup double loaded on the semffy brush.

Sunflower:

Refer to Painting Worksheet #3.

1.    Double load Mapie Syrup and a touch of Licorlce on the large scruffy brush. With Mapie Syrup on the top edge, pounce centers in a "C” shape.

2.    Double load Yellow Ochrę and School Bus Yellow on the 3/4" fiat brush. Puli petais from the pounced center for each stroke.

3.    Using the same scruffy brush from step 1, pick up a touch of Yellow Ochrę on the Mapie Syrup edge. With Yellow Ochrę turned to outer edge, pounce highlight on flower centers.

Leaves, Stems & Moss:

Refer to Painting Worksheet #/, Doubie load using colorsgiven below.

1.    Double load Green Forest and School Bus Yellow on the 1 ’ fiat brush. Paint stems.

2.    With same loaded brush, paint wiggied leaves, tuming the Green Forest side of brush to outer edge.

3.    Multi-ioad the scruffy brush with Greer. Forest, Sunflower, and Wicker White. Pounce moss.

⁴ Finish

1.    When dry. spray with rwo or three coats of sealer.

2.    Attach flower cutout to back of night stand with wood screws. □
