After my father passed away I had to look after my mother. I didn’t know if I was up to it, I had a lot to deal with. Then one dąy I bumped into one of Dad’s old friends. I went on about Dad and how much I missed him and felt much better. Then, six months later he showed up at our house! My Mum and him were trying to keep it from me that they were dating. I didn’t mind.

Now he lives wilh us. It’s great. He reads stories out loud to my little brodier at night before he tucks him in and he wakes him up in the morning by tickling him.

Exercise. Translate the following phrases into Polish:
