2. Add Beads to the top of the earring according to individual beading pattern. If you wish to make a practice earring before beginning your first project, put dark beads on the outside and light on the inside.

Top of Earring

1. Add two beads then hook needle under the thread be-tween bugle beads 2 and 3.

2. Return through seed bead 2. Add seed bead 3 and hook thread between 3 and 4.

3. Complete the row. Then add beads on Row 2 as before, decreasing each row by 1 bead.

4. Continue adding rows to end of pattern. Then add a hanging loop at the top.

5. Pick Up 4 beads. Thread through them twice to form a strong loop at the top.

6. Bring needle down through the outside row of seed beads and foundation beads.

3. Add Fringe to the bottom of the earring. Thread needle down through the fringe beads and loop, according to beading pattern. Thread needle back up the same beads. Add a 2nd fringe in the same manner.

4. Finish earring by going back up the outer edge of the foundation and top pattern. Knot at the top, just below the hanging loop. At-tach an earwire to the loop. Repeat each step for matching earring.
