instructions

Foundation: Using suede yarn, ch 175, turn.

Row 1: Ch 3, dc in 4th ch from hk and ea ch across - 175 sts.

Weave in ends.

Attach the wool and metalik blend yarns to the beg of the row. Holding both strands tog as 1.

Ch 3, dc in ea st across, weave in ends.

Attach the suede yarn to the beg of the row just completed. Ch 1, sc in ea st across, weave in ends.

Rep these 2 rows on the other side of the dc suede so all the rows are worked from the right side of the scarf.

felting

Felt in the washer, checking occasionally to see if the wool yarn is completely felted and that the suede yarn is holding together. When the scarf is felted to the desired texturc, adjust to the finished shape and let dry in a warm, dry place.

f i n i s h i n g

Attach the ribbon yarn to one corner of the scarf and work dc across that side of the scarf. Rep for the other side of the scarf. Weave in ends.

Cut 24 lengths (22") of ribbon and fold in half. Attach 12 lengths along each end of the scarf, two on the end of each double crochet and one on the end of the single crochets. Trim the ends of the fringę even, if necessary.
