Indefinite Articles
The indefinite article refers to one individual out of a generał group. English has two forms: a and an. (A is used before words beginning with a consonant and an before words beginning with a vowel sound.) In Spanish indefinite articles have the same function but have two genders:
• feminine forms.

Una pera es una fruta.
Unas canciones, una guitarra y
A pear is a fruit.
tenemos una fiesta.
A few songs, a guitar and we have a party.
• masculine forms.
un a, an unos a few, some
