SHAWL

Shawls are ideał all-season wear—from chasing the cool of a sum-mer evening to providing a welcome extra layer in the depth of Winter. For this shawl, Nancy Bush took inspiration from the triangular shawls madę in Estonia today and combined a variety of patterns. She worked it in the softest cashmere, in green, of course. Videuik means dusk in Estonian, and this shawl provides a warm retreat on a winter’s evening, when the last of the sun’s rays give way to darkness, and it's time to light the lamp. Nancy worked this shawl from the bot-tom to the top, shaping it with decreases along the way.

About 62" (157.5 cm) wide across top edge and 36" (91.5 cm) long from center of top edge to tip of lower point.
