Painted in bright colours on a stamped ground which ii glazed red. Thcse pands ait unlikc any other known to the aothor. Howcvcr, their generał com ponowi is reminisccnt of the German panel illustratcd in PLue 24 and bodi arc in a German collcction. Thn all points to a German provenance. Such frontals wert presumably madę for Catholic churchcs in tarana and Austria.
