FOUR SIMPLE HANDKERCHIEF EDGINGS

EDGING B_

This is a very simple little edging which, if you like the instructions written out, goes like this:

Ring 3 ds p three times, 9 ds

Chain 2 ds p seven times, 2 ds. Join with shuttle thread to third p on ring, and repeat.

At the corner, after joining the chain to the 3rd p of the ring, make another chain, then a ring of 9 ds, join to the second p of previous ring, 3 ds p twice and 3 ds. Then make the ring of 3 ds p three times 9 ds, and the chain as before. Do not forget to join the first p of each chain to the last p of the previous chain, othcrwise it tends to twist up.
