6-10 CYLINDER, PISTON AND EXH AUST VALVE

•    Install the exhaust valve assembly © checking its direction, right left, up and down into the cylinder.

•    Install the exhaust valve setting its taper part face to down side.

•    Tighten the exhaust valve piÄ…te bolts.

•    Inspect the main and side valve tor smooth movement.

•    Inspect if the side valve is closed when the main valve is low-ered and, at the same time, see if the side valve is open when the main valve is lifted.

Install the exhaust valve shaft (2), springs (3) and valve shaft arm ®.

Tighten the exhaust valve shaft bolt.

Install the exhaust valve shaft stop retainer.

Install the new gasket and the exhaust valve cover (S)>,

Install the breather hoses and hose clamp Y

CYLINDER REASSEMBLY

•    Install the new gasket © and the dowel pins

•    Apply engine oil to the cylinder borÄ™.

•    HoÅ‚d the piston and piston ring, and insert the piston into the cylinder.
