With Hallowcenjust around the corncr, 1 was really pleased to sec somc quick designs in issuc 231. lc’s not something l'd usually stitch anything for but I’ve got a few little nephews that I know will Iove these cute mocitś (above). I’ve suggested they peel the pieces of stitched canvas off the cards and make them into badges to wcar on Hallowccn. l’m surę they‘U make use of them somehow! Josle Barnes, Edinburgh
IVc bcen stitching sińce 2003, but this last year I’ve madę a real breakthrough - I learned how to make the back of my stitching as neat a.s the front. Tm so excitcd by all the possibilitics now opetJ to me: napkins, clotlies, tablecloths. Herc is one of my recent efforts (above. riglit),a place mat for a tea tray. Now I can’t wait to make a pot of tea so I can start using it. Svetlana Lengyel, Hungary

This is the first time I’ve ever stitched on evenweave and it was so much easicr than I frrst c.xpcctcd. 1 just loved the colours and design of this projcct - as soon as 1 saw it I just had to give it a go. I even added key hooks to the bottom to hang my chalk and duster from. Thanks for yet another fantastic stitching project, CrossStitcher magazine!
