89 TransAlp Manual Cylinder Head Valve 9 8
CYLINDER HEAD/VALVE
Remove the engine from the frame (page 6-21.
Remove the cylinder head cover (page 9-3).
Remove the camshaft holder (page 9-4).
Remove the camshaft (page 9-4).
Remove the oil pass pipę bolts, sealing washer, lock washer, oil pass pipę holder mounting bolt and oil pass pipę.
OIL PASS PIPĘ
(1) OIL PASS PIPĘ BOLTS/ SEALING WASHERS/
Remove the cam chain tensioner mouting bolts and washers from the cylinder head and cylinder.
Loosen the 6 mm bolt, 8 mm bolts, 8 mm nut and 10 mm nuts/ washers in a criss-cross pattern in 2 or 3 steps.
Remove the bolts and nuts.
Remove the cylinder head.
Remove the gasket, dowel pins and cam chain guide from the cylinder.

(1) 10 mm NUTS/WASHERS
(4) 6 mm BOLT
(1) DOWEL PINS
(3) GASKET
