DOUGHCRAFT
To make the wings, roli out some dough and cut out two leaves using the cutter. Trim one end of each leaf with a kmfe to make a fiat edge. Wet eiiher side ot the body and join the wings.
Making the top of the mobile
§Roll out some dough until it is
6mm (&n) thick to coat the inside of the bowl, trim the edges.
Make a hole in the ceritre of the bowl shape with the drinking straw. Make four holes around the inside edge of the bowl, 6mm (%in) up from the top edge.
Place the bowl. bees, hive and suns on a baking tray and bakę at 110°C (220°F or Gas Mark %) for about four hours. If the bees' wings droop, prop them up with kitchen foil.
Once baked, remove the dough from the bowl, placing it upside down on the baking tray and allow it to cool. The dough will not be fully baked on the outside. so that the fluted circle and tlowers can be joined to it.
Decorating the top of the mobile
SCut out a circle with the fluted cutter from thinly rolled dough. Make a hole in the centre of the circle with the large hole drinking straw. Wet one side of the circle and ,oin it to the top of the mobile.
Cut twenty leaves from thinly rolled dough and arrange them in a circle to form a flower on the bowl, between the holes. Make the centre of the flower from a smali flattened bali and join it to the rest of the flower. Make three morę flowers in the same way.
