1 Recall Show Ss the map and ask them to find the picture of a pile of books.

Can anyone tell you what building it represents? (library). Ss write the numbers 1-20 in thelr notebooks and write library beside number one. They can work in pairs to identify the remaining symbols and write the words beside the numbers. Quick Ss can add morÄ™ words to the list. When they finish they can check in the Word bank on page 132. Ask Ss to repeat the place names chorally.
