Words Of Jesus Christ - 2

"But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear [see No Contest]. For I tell you the truth, many prophets [see Prophecy] and righteous men [see The Faithful and Bible History] longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it." (Matthew 13:16-17).

"Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned, then gather the wheat and bring them into my barn." (Matthew 13:30) (see Parable Of The Sower and Parable Of The Weeds)

"Only in his home town and in his own house is a prophet without honor." (Matthew 13:57) (see Nazareth)

"Why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?" (Matthew 15:3) (see Sweet Nuthins')

"If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?" (Matthew 16:24-26) (see Christian Living and What Is A Saint?)

"For where two or three come together in My Name, there am I with them." (Matthew 18:20) (see Remember The Sabbath Day and Why Bother?)

"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle then for a rich man to enter The Kingdom of God." (Matthew 19:24)

"We are going up to Jerusalem, and The Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law [see Sadducees and Who Were The Pharisees?]. They will condemn Him to death [see The Fateful Night] and will turn Him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified [see Roman Legions and How Did Jesus Christ Die?]. On the third day He will be raised to life!" [see The Garden Tomb and Mary of Magdala] (Matthew 20:18-19)

"Whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave - just as The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life for many." (Matthew 20:26-28) (see The Way)

"I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20-21) (see The Faithful and The Power Of Prayer)

Fact Finder: What will be role of the original Twelve Apostles (with Matthias replacing Judas - see Why Did He Do It?) in The Kingdom of God?
Matthew 19:28
