Training managersfor treatment entities

Abstract: Modern competitive economy requires excellent skills from managers in order to achieve set budget goals and opera-tional indexes, including the health care sector. Effective and effi-cient management, followed by operating treatment entities in developing economy, may be ensured by a well-educated manager who makes use of his knowledge to take right decisions. Therefore, education is a very important factor influencing suc-cess. The aim of the study is to review an educational offer and to present the opinion and the assessment of the futurę managers of treatment entities' education. The research included a group of training health managers and the research tool was a survey, including questions on teaching present and futurę health care managers. Respondents' opinions confirm that changes in the system of health care require from the managing staff their constant competence improvement. Both present and futurę managers are aware of the necessity to deepen their knowledge and providing the effectiveness of treatment entities operating makes it necessary to train present and futurę manage-rial staff.
