By four tendons into the sides of the
middle phalanges of the 2nd through 5th
digits
Actions
Flexes the proximal interphalangeal (PIP)
joints of the 2nd through 5th digits, assists
in flexion of the metacapophalangeal
(MCP) joints, and wrist flexion
