ESI 2.0 

After installation of 2015/1, the ESI 2.0 no longer starts via the desktop link / Start menu 

Affected: 
ESI 2.0 Version 2015/1. 

Error: 
After installation of ESI 2.0 Version 2015/1, the ESI 2.0 no longer starts via the existing desktop link 
and also not from the Start menu. 

Remedy: 
Download and install the online update "Systemsoft 9.0.1460 -> 9.0.1461" via DDM.  

i  The online update is also available for off-line customers (as a single-click-exe-install):

or on EDIS at \EDIS\SOFTWARE\Updates\ESI 2.0\2015-1-SP1.exe).

 

Alternative remedy without online access: 

1.  Manually start ESI 2.0 from Windows Explorer (

 + E) in the "ESItronic" folder by double-clicking "esirt.exe". 

i  The ESItronic folder is located at different locations, depending on the operating system and language or the 

target directory that was selected when installing ESI 2.0. 

Examples for Windows7 - 32-bit: 
C:\Programme\Bosch\ESItronic 2.0\ESItronic\esirt.exe 
C:\Program Files\Bosch\ESItronic 2.0\ESItronic\esirt.exe 
Examples for Windows7 - 64-bit: 
C:\Programme(x86)\Bosch\ESItronic 2.0\ESItronic\esirt.exe 
C:\Program Files (x86)\Bosch\ESItronic 2.0\ESItronic\esirt.exe 

  ESI 2.0 is started. 

2. Exit 

ESI 

2.0. 

   ESI 2.0 can now be started from the existing desktop link and from the Start menu again.
