Apply the base of the Kinesio Tex to
the distal border of the plantar surface
of the calcaneus
Dorsiflex the ankle and toes to
increase tissue tension.
Peel the Kinesio Tex from the paper
liner and place the tape temporarily
on the skin. Do not activate the glue
by rubbing.
The medial “y” tail is attached to the
3rd metatarsal head.
The lateral “y” tail is attached to the
medial aspect of the 1st metatarsal
head.
