Confirmation Testing



Patient position: supine with hip and
knee flexed



Apply the base of the Kinesio Tex to
the superior border of the pubic
ramus.



Adduct and internally rotate the hip
and raise the arm on the side to be
taped.



Peel the Kinesio Tex from the paper
liner and place the tape temporarily
on the skin. Do not activate the glue
by rubbing.



Expand the thoracic and abdominal
spaces with a maximum inspiration.



While stabilizing the base of the
Kinesio Tex, pull the skin inferiorly to
increase tissue tension.



Apply the other end of the Kinesio
Tex to the lateral aspect of the 10th
rib.
