ETI Potentiometer (NLA) No Longer Available

Description:

Effective immediately, the potentiometer (PN 2308652 from ETI) will no longer be available at
the Danville Parts Distribution Center. The ETI potentiometer has been replaced by a Bourns
potentiometer (P/N 2034281).

Starting with serial number E138H02607U all trucks are being shipped from Hyster with
Bourns potentiometers and a main truck wire harness that accommodates these
potentiometers.

For units that shipped “Prior” to serial number E138H02607U, that had a main truck harness
that accommodated an ETI potentiometer, a service kit is available for field installation to the
Bourns potentiometer.

This service kit includes a jumper harness and a new Bourns potentiometer. The jumper
harness plugs into the existing main truck harness to accommodate the new Bourns
potentiometer. The kit can be purchased from the Parts Distribution Center by ordering PN
1463962. NOTE! If required, the jumper harness can be purchased separate by ordering PN
1463961.

Service recommends installing the new potentiometer(s) and jumper harness whenever a
failure occurs with an ETI potentiometer(s).
