Trace the geophysical features revealed in Figure 7.3(a) on a transparent overlay and

compare your result with the geological map in Figure 7.3(b).

Answer

Note that your sketch reveals more than the map in terms of geological struc-

ture. Features are more connected and new ones are revealed. As a whole the
combination of all features gives a better understanding of geological phenome-
non in that region, and can be combined to other data like a land-cover map for
further analysis.
