The TAI-S digital subscriber terminal is intended to carry out encrypted telephone

calls and encrypted data transmissions up to the SECRET clearance level within public
and dedicated ISDN networks.

MAIN FEATURES

•

the equipment designed for end-to-end cryptographic protection of information;

•

high quality of encrypted calls (near toll quality);

•

encrypted asynchronous data transmission at 57.6kb/s (RS-232C interface);

•

encrypted synchronous data transmission at 64k/s (RS-232C interface);

•

cooperation with ISDN network through S0 standard interface, powered from ISDN

subscriber line;

•

access to the terminal conditioned by personal user identifier and password;

•

expected to certificate of Home Security Authorities, in accordance with Law of Secret

Knowledge Protection in the following range:
– cryptographic security according to ITSEC (Information Technology Security Evaluation

Criteria) on E3 level;

– information protection by compromising emanations attenuation – in accordance with

AMSG 720B requirement;

•

possibility of software customising or exchange of cryptography as well as implementation of

its own cryptographic unit

APPLICATION

At staff and office work places as a cryptographic unit for protection of information transmitted
within ISDN networks.
