Installation instructions for loading actions
You can save the ‘Iridius Actions 1.1.atn’ anywhere. However, if you place the file in the
‘Presets/Photoshop Actions’ folder inside the Adobe Photoshop CS application folder, the
set will appear at the bottom of the Actions palette menu after you restart the
application.
1 If already open, quit Adobe Photoshop.
2 Copy the actions file ‘Iridius Actions 1.1.atn’ into the ‘Photoshop Actions’ folder. This
is located in the ‘Presets’ folder in the ‘Adobe Photoshop CS’ application folder.
Note: The default location of the Adobe Photoshop CS Settings folder varies by
operating system. Use your operating system’s Find command to locate this folder.
3 Launch Adobe Photoshop CS.
4 Choose... Window > Actions. This will open the ‘Actions’ palette.
5 Click on the small triangle in the topright corner of the ‘Actions’ palette to access the
‘Actions’ menu. From the bottom of the menu select ‘Iridius Actions 1.1.atn’ this will
load the actions into the palette. (Ensure that the naming convention for the action set
is not renamed from ‘Iridius Actions 1.1.atn’)
To play an action
1 Open an image.
2 Choose... Window > Actions. Select the desired action.
3 Click the Play button at the bottom of the ‘Actions’ palette, or choose Play from the
palette menu.
