Confirmation Testing
With the wrist in extension, apply the
Kinesio Tex with the four tails to the
base of the wrist.
Peel the four tails of the Kinesio Tex
from the paper liner and place the
tape temporarily on the skin. Do not
activate the glue by rubbing.
Extend the elbow, wrist, and fingers
as the Kinesio Tex is applied to
increase tissue tension.
Apply the first tail to the middle
phalanx of the second (index) finger.
Peel the Kinesio Tex from the paper
liner and place the tape tails
temporarily on the skin. Do not
activate the glue by rubbing.
Extend the elbow, wrist, and fingers
as the Kinesio Tex is applied to
increase tissue tension.
Apply the rest of the tails to the
middle phalanx of the 3rd, 4th, and
5th fingers.
While maintaining the elbow and wrist
in extension to increase tissue
tension, apply the lateral tail of the
proximal “y” cut to the lateral
epicondyle of the humerus.
