Another wording for image classification is ‘partitioning of the feature space’. Explain
what is meant by this.
Answer
By training, we represent classes by samples, projected as 2D histograms in fea-
ture spaces. Partition in the feature space therefore is equivalent to image clas-
sification, since by partitioning we actually define classes.
