MACP

Assistance to the Civil Power 

(TLACP)

• Contact unit or JRLO at HQ 15 (NE) Bde

• Proposed Training is non-military and 

uncontroversial

• Service personnel are not involved in giving 

instruction or forming part of the crowd for public 

order training.

• There is no detriment to service commitments or 

training

• Police meet the cost of the facilities provided

• Indemnity arrangements are in place 

• The arrangements are made discreetly and the 

training is conducted out of public view
