6421B DMOC Readme

Microsoft Learning has released “digital MOC" as a new way for Learning Partners to offer MOC content to students. As part of this release, MCTs have access to digital MOC versions of materials. For each course that is offered in digital MOC format, there will now be a new digital MOC folder with these digital MOC materials located with the existing MOC content on the MCT courseware download center.

Please note that if certain files youłre used to seeing are not in this folder, this means that the MOC version of those files is the same for digital MOC. For example, there are no new PowerPoint decks. So if you were teaching a digital MOC course, you would use the files in the digital MOC folder for that course plus the PowerPoint decks in the MOC folder.

Also note that these MCT watermarked digital MOC files have more advanced annotations/commenting features enabled (for use in Adobe Reader) whereas the version made available to Learning Partners / students via Courseware Library have more limited annotations/commenting features enabled. However, Learning Partners / students can still take advantage of advanced annotations/commenting by using third-party PDF readers (such as PDF-XChange or Foxit Reader which are available for free online):

Whichever solution chosen, please note that Microsoft is not responsible for the third-party links provided above and does not support or endorse Adobe Reader, PDF-XChange, or Foxit Reader.

Lastly, see below for the full text of the readme provided to Learning Partners / students as part of their version of digital MOC.

This digital version of this Microsoft Official Course comes with two files:

1) The main course file including lab instructions and lab answer keys (the equivalent of the printed book)
2) The lab manual file (just the lab instructions and lab answer keys, which is also included in the main course file)

In addition to the above two files, you can find the course companion content at the following url: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/companionmoc. This course companion content provides you with content designed to supplement the content in the main course file.

Please note that if you would like to use annotation/commenting functionality, the latest version of Adobe Reader is required and can be downloaded for free here:
