Answer the questions. Write sentences.

Procedure
1 Ask pupils in English if they live in a city or in the country. Distribute the worksheets. Ask pupils to look at the
pictures and tell you which one shows the country and which one shows a city or town. Ask pupils what they can
see in the pictures, eliciting as many English words as possible.
2 Read the words in the Word Bank aloud. Then read out the first question aloud, asking children to answer using a
phrase from the Word Bank.
3 Pupils continue the exercise individually or in pairs, reading the questions carefully and choosing the correct answer
from the Word Bank. Go round helping as necessary.
4 Check their answers by reading the questions and answers aloud.
