This is exactly the answer to zzz's question. I looked for price
action to confirm that the already established resistance zone
(confluence here...) was where it would turn around.
What I saw at the third bounce was:
1) a "hanging man" after the bullish engulfing (shows indecision)
2) a bearish spinnig top (shows more indecision)
3) a confirmed bearish bar (decision made!)
Jump in....the waters great!!
None of these bars closed beyond the already established resistance line I drew.
I drew fibs (not shown in this chart) and I saw that the 50% fib
retracement lined up nicely with the floor-trader daily pivot point.
WHat a nice confluence area. I made it my target.

Since this is an hourly chart, and I trade primarily the BASE150
strategy on my hourlies, my second target was a bounce off the
150ema....which never hit...oh well!
Note that this was a countertrend trade. So profits were taken quickly.
The trend in this particular chart was up, at the time. It was nice to
see the "piercing pattern" form at the 50% fib retrace/floortrader
daily pivot point confluence area to indicate that the prevalent trend
was going to continue. One could have taken the ride back up.!!

missed this one. AUD has gone ballistic against EVERY currency today.
EUR, CAD, NZD..you name it, AUD has outperformed it. Crazy.

First Time Back to 150 1h after ages after already hammering out a range low / temporary PPZ before.

Notice how the time factor comes into play as there is no real "juice"
until first the 50 and then later the 150 arrives...hmmmmm....might be
something to talk about in videos...general thoughts about all the
thousand things I like to interpret into these poor widdle EMAs

Lots
of good base entries today. Here is one from Kiwi. 4 hour pb back to
365 ema. 50 ema coming up fast so you could have gotten away with a
really small stop on this one. Already good for nearly 100 pips+. This
was also a 38.2% RE which opens to the possibility of a push towards
0.7600. Also note the first pullback to the 6 ema after breaking above
the 365. That bar turned into a nice BUOB and moved up 100 pips or so.

Unusual timeframe for me but price also ftb to 4rh 25 and 15 min 365.
4hr touch ideal entry yielding b/e now at 365, but the risk reward
looks good, so I took it at 8800 if she goes long through ppz next
stall is 90 pips up at good fib confluence. Then daily 150 over 365
could be a good spot to add if she breaks or sell off if not. All with
backdrop of weekly pin engagement.

GJ similiar with 25 through 150. Basically all three went parallel :P

This one is probably not the best example because the 25 wasn't
officially "loaded". The GJ one was however(25 through 150), as was
GBPCHF(6 through 25).

But this one had a nice s/r flip example along with it.

This was nice from Monday.
Notice that good base entries look good.......it can get very confusing
sometimes with price trapped between longer ema's etc but also notice
that if one can wait the RRR is seldom less than 1:3.

I actually meant the earlier pin bar in the first chart but I am on catch up today having been busy with other stuff this week.
Nice observations man how excited are we about the new site with
trading room e.t.c. It never ceases to amaze me how much love there is
in here, when I first started this business I thought it would be
anything but this.
God bless the pf and all who sail in her!

The balence between keeping up with the market and not going gaga is
more and more important to me i find even a day away from the charts
and i lose the flow, more than a working day at the screens and gaga
also. I know you can relate ......
