From the Pieniny, make a further short journey to Zakopane resort, the city at the foot of the Tatra mountain range. In Zakopane, the highest situated town in <st1:country-region><st1:place>Poland</st1:place></st1:country-region>, take a trip by cable car to Kasprowy Wierch to admire beautiful panoramas of high mountains; find time to time to walk along Krupowki walkway, the main tourist attraction in Zakopane with dozens of shops and souvenir stalls, regional arts and crafts.

The Czorsztyn Lake is a cracker as well!- boats, pedalos or just paddling on offer! The dam and visitor centre are popular all year round, people flock to visit the dam and visitor centre, climb the couple of hundred steps to the top and admire the views of the <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Dunajec</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType>Castle</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> reflected in the lake, the plentiful trout and the beautiful scenery. <o:p></o:p>

The <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Pieniny</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType>National Park</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> , protecting a strikingly picturesque and naturally rich limestone mountain range is cut by the several hundred metres deep gorge of the Dunajec river. Sail through the river gorge on a specially prepared wooden rafts. Go for the longer trip (5km more) to end door to door with Marta's cottage! Hiking from Kroscienko : slow easy walk to climb the highest summit in the mountain range - Three Crowns offering a splendid 360º panoramic view around; walk to Sokolica, the second biggest peak with a very high vertical rocky wall dominating over <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Dunajec</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType>River</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>. In proximity more walks - Homole Gorge and Biala Woda (White Stream) walks - best for a stroll by the stream with a picnic site.

Visit the Czorsztyn ruins and Niedzica Castle and - why not to go further abroad - Slovakia is just an inch away! <o:p></o:p>

And remember - there are plenty of country inns and restaurants around!
