I have a proplem with the pedals! I can't reach them. Im 5'6" little. With my armes In a nice position on the wheel im about 150mm short. Would there be a problem with moving all forwould inculding the plate holding the steering bush.

I think this should be quite easily done, although I'd leave CP16 where it is, the route of the steering column is critical.

The best way would be to slightly alter the pedal box and build a bulkhead further back.

Sorry chaps, what with one thing and another I haven't finished the sketch for the pedal box for dwarfs...er I mean..the shorter gentleman!

I'll give you a run-down of what I'm drawing and try to post it in the week.

Basically you need an extra cross peice on the floor, 25 x 25mm tube, 150mm behind BR10 in the passenger footwell. This forms the bottom platform for the pedal box. Where this piece meets TT3 and BR4 you need an upright 25 x 25mm at either side, perpendicular to the end up to TT12 and TR2. A piece of 25 x 25 mm tube between TR2 and TT12 completes the frame of the new bulkhead

You'll need a 3mm plate similar to CP16 to fit to the rear face of the constructed frame. This plate will be sligthly wider than CP16, and without the bracket/hole for the steering column, but the same depth. The original CP16 plate should be retained to maintain the steering column position, it may need to be shortened to clear the brake master cylinder.

The pedal box it's self will need to be made slightly wider because of the slope out of BR4 and TT3.

The pedal box can then be fitted as in the book.
