If you want to go ahead these days, you need to have a good command of English
I 've always loved (the sea)/travelling.
I'd love to visit places untouched by man.
However/though there's no place like home.

As far as languages are concerned, I used to learn German.

I love swimming, what is more, scuba diving is my passion.

Taking everything into account, yes, working for a big corporation gives more opportunities than being self-employed. But that is of course, my point of view.

Perhaps it should be also emphasized that ... / it should be pointed out that ...
